The drive also accepts hairstyling tools like curling irons and hair dryers, eyeglasses and contact lens materials, writing instruments including pens, markers, glue sticks, mechanical pencils, and highlighters, as well as flexible plastic film and #2 or #4 bags and wrapping. Clean plastic takeout containers are accepted except black. Additional categories include squeeze food pouches, textiles of any condition, printer ink cartridges and toner, black plastic flower and plant pots, and phone cases with pop sockets. Brand-specific packaging such as Late July chips and Entemann Little Bites is welcome. This event coincides with the THS Marching Band Redeemable Drive, so redeemable bottles and cans can be dropped off at the same time. Her story began during the pandemic when she revived an old Stratocaster from the garage, taught herself to play by ear, and blended influences from rock, Americana, bluegrass, and the jam-band tradition into a sound that feels distinctly her own.
