Mt. Joy brings its 10-year celebration to Westville Music Bowl in New Haven with an all ages show presented by Premier Concerts, Manic Presents, and Bowery Presents. The Philadelphia indie rock band of Matt Quinn, Sam Cooper, Jackie Miclau, Sotiris Eliopoulos, and Michael Byrnes has built a reputation for powerful live performances and steady growth, releasing the albums Mt. Joy, Rearrange Us, and Orange Blood, along with the EP Hope We Have Fun. Their rise has included headline sell outs at Madison Square Garden, the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and Red Rocks, plus appearances at major festivals and on late night television. Connecticut Public presents an evening of live storytelling with The Moth Mainstage at College Street Music Hall. This two act production includes a musical performance and a notable host, with five storytellers sharing true personal tales told from memory and without notes. Stories are captured live for future episodes of The Moth Podcast and The Moth Radio Hour. The result is a night of narratives on a wide range of themes that feels personal, thought provoking, and theatrical. All ages are welcome. The Moth is a nonprofit dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling. For 25 years it has presented more than 40,000 true stories to standing room audiences and virtual listeners worldwide. The organization produces roughly 600 live and virtual shows each year and maintains an ongoing presence in 28 cities. It also offers storytelling workshops for high school students, teachers, adults and advocates through its Education, Community and Global Programs, and MothWorks, which applies Moth storytelling to support empathetic communication.

Their onstage chemistry fuels playful back-and-forth as they share behind-the-song anecdotes while spanning four decades of Foster’s hit-filled career. The set features songs he wrote or produced for artists such as Celine Dion, Earth Wind & Fire, Chicago, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, and Natalie Cole, including Because You Loved Me, After the Love Is Gone, You're the Inspiration, You Raise Me Up, Home, and Unforgettable. McPhee adds fan favorites like her rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow and She Used to Be Mine from Waitress, along with a lighthearted Celine Dion impression. McPhee’s journey from American Idol to work across film, television, and the stage includes Smash and performances in Waitress on Broadway and in London’s West End. Foster, widely known for his melodic pop sound of the 80s and 90s, brings the stories behind these songs to the forefront for a warm, conversational evening of music.

Carl performs live onstage with his ELP Legacy bandmates Paul Bielatowicz and Simon Fitzpatrick, precisely synchronized with video of Keith Emerson and Greg Lake captured at ELP’s sold out 1992 Royal Albert Hall concert. It is not a tribute act, but a performance built from the original musicians, blended in real time to deliver a complete and faithful Emerson, Lake & Palmer show. Formed in London in 1970, ELP united Keith Emerson of the Nice, Greg Lake of King Crimson, and Carl Palmer of Atomic Rooster. The group became a major force in progressive rock, earning nine RIAA gold albums in the United States and an estimated 48 million records sold worldwide. Their music blends classical adaptations with jazz and symphonic rock, often showcasing Emerson’s Hammond organ, Moog synthesizer, and piano, alongside acoustic songs written by Lake.
