    Weekday Candle Making Experience

Bridgeport · NaturalAnnie Essentials Candle Bar, 1313 Connecticut Ave

Find a calm, creative break in Bridgeport, Connecticut at Naturalannie Essentials. This weekday candle making experience offers a mellow atmosphere with music and an unrushed pace, ideal for after-work unwinding and midweek self-care. Participants create a custom scented candle from start to finish, selecting from a variety of fragrances to blend a personalized aroma. Guidance is provided throughout, so no prior skills are needed. The space is BYOB friendly, and guests may bring food and drinks to enjoy while they pour. The vibe is intentionally softer than weekend events, with lower key energy, more room to breathe, easier parking, and less hurry... a genuine pause from everyday routines. It suits stay-at-home moms seeking a moment to themselves, homeschool families planning a creative outing, friends looking for an alternative to the usual bar scene, couples seeking a quieter date, and anyone in need of a midweek reset. The candle bar is cozy and welcoming for individuals and small groups, and capacity is limited to keep the experience intimate.

    Tab Benoit

Fairfield · SHU Community Theatre, 15 Unquowa Rd

Multi-Grammy-nominated guitarist and singer Tab Benoit, a wetlands activist, brings the Soul of the Swamp Tour 2026 to the stage with a performance powered by passion and a strong connection to his swamp roots. His body of work spans more than 20 releases, and his 90s catalog produced radio hits like “Nice and Warm” and “Cross the Line.” Reviewers have compared his vocals to Otis Redding and praised a guitar voice that is distinctly his. In 2024 he released I Hear Thunder, marking his first new recording in 13 years. This tour pulls from songs across his career, spotlighting warm tones and narrative lyrics that have earned recognition throughout the music world. He keeps the setup stripped to the basics...guitar into an amp with a single cable...so the feel of his playing and the rapport with his band take center stage.

    Los Lobos

Fairfield · Warehouse, 70 Sanford St

Los Lobos brings its shape-shifting sound to The Warehouse in Fairfield, CT. Refusing to be boxed in, the band threads rock, blues, soul, folk, country, Tex-Mex, and Mexican folk traditions into a voice that is entirely its own, grounded yet adventurous. Onstage, the energy can pivot in an instant... lean and locked-in, then slipping into a hypnotic sway, then turning tender enough to hush the room. The songs carry real heft, the rhythms land with force, and the playing always serves the feeling rather than flash. Listeners who have followed them for years can revel in a body of work that endures. Newcomers often leave won over by what sits at the heart of the show... deep chemistry, discerning taste, and true conviction. In a room like The Warehouse, that connection lands just right. Close enough to catch the fine detail, with enough space to feel the lift.
