Small repairs are typically completed at no cost during the event, with payment only for any parts required. If a fix needs additional time or specialized equipment, repair experts will suggest next steps, which may include taking the item to finish the work and returning it afterward. More complex or time intensive projects may involve a negotiable fee to cover labor and overhead, supporting the community and a more sustainable lifestyle. Common projects include small appliances like vacuums, blenders, lamps, and fans, as well as clothing and gear issues such as tears, broken zippers, frayed edges, and damaged pockets or straps. New challenges are welcome for items that can be carried in.
