The Hartford Yard Goats, the Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, host the 2nd Annual G.O.A.T. Card Show at Dunkin’ Park. The marketplace stretches around the full 360 degree concourse of Dunkin’ Park, a venue honored as Best Ballpark in America four times. Expect easy parking and open concessions, plus a full ballpark atmosphere while you shop, trade, and discover new favorites. Admission is $10, and children 10 and under are free. Vendors should use only official channels when securing tables, since any offers made outside those channels are not valid.

A new monthly Sunday market brings local farms, specialty food vendors, and artisans to Pratt Street in Hartford. Stroll a historic, pedestrian-only, brick-lined block to shop produce and pantry goods, vinyl records, and home items. Each market morning begins with a free yoga session led by After Glow Yoga. Expect family friendly activities, live music, and hands-on workshops throughout the day. Offerings include locally produced fruits and vegetables, eggs, cheeses and other dairy products, meats, jams and pickles, dips and spreads, pasta and sauces, snacks, nuts, artisan goods, and pet treats. The series is presented in partnership with the Hartford Culinary Collaborative. Vendor opportunities are available, with the first market day free, a $200 full-season rate, and a $50 per day drop-in option.

A community scavenger hunt for all ages turns Berlin into a search for hidden book covers. Posters are tucked into the windows of 20 businesses and schools, including Rebel Dog Coffee, Stop & Shop, McGee Middle School, and Berlin Town Hall. Participants track down at least 15 covers, record each title on a log, and then return the log to the library or submit a scanned copy by email for a chance at a raffle prize. The hunt offers a way to explore the town and discover new books.

Jesus Christ Superstar, the groundbreaking rock opera that introduced the Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber partnership to the professional stage, recounts the final week of Jesus through the perspective of Judas Iscariot. The narrative is sung from start to finish and explores the bonds and tensions among Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, the disciples, the crowds who follow them, and the Roman Empire. Its signature 1970s sound includes well-known songs such as Superstar, I Don't Know How to Love Him, and Gethsemane, and it has connected with audiences for more than fifty years. Experience Belly: An American Love Story, a choreopoem by Dr. Haile Eshe Cole that weaves song, dance, spoken word, and movement into a journey across generations, sharing the stories of Black women from their arrival in America to the present. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $20 for students and senior citizens, and the run includes a Pay What You Can night. Donations of personal care items and household essentials benefiting the Prudence Crandall Center will be accepted at each performance, with a list of suggested items available on the organization’s website. Front of house volunteer opportunities, including box office, concessions, bartending, and lobby cleaning, are available for all performances, and volunteers can see the show for free.

Presented by the Imperial Sovereign Court of All Connecticut, this free-admission showcase brings lively performances to Chez Est. The evening is co-hosted by Imperial Crown Princess to Reign 27, Anne Tikk, and Liege Dayanara Love Dégagé, and features a spirited variety show with members of ISCofAllCT, performers from across the Imperial Court System, and entertainers from the Connecticut community, along with refreshing drinks from the bar. Net proceeds support Reign 27 beneficiaries, including the ISCofAllCT Scholarship Fund, the CT Breast Health Initiative, the Hartford Gay Men’s Chorus, and Trans Voice 365, a program at the Metropolitan Community Church of Hartford.
