Dancers ages 3 to 18 are invited to audition for the Mansfield Community Nutcracker at Lenard Hall. Pre-registration is required before auditioning, and everyone who auditions will receive a role. Practices will follow, with performances at Mansfield Middle School.

Celebrating its 18th year, this community fair on Northbridge Common brings a full day of local arts and crafts, a variety of vendors, a food court and bake sale, and activities for children. Highlights include music, Maggie the Clown, games and face painting, karaoke, and a karate demonstration. Raffle offerings span many prizes and there is also a 50/50 drawing. It captures the spirit of fall with family friendly fun in a historic New England setting. A rain date is planned.

The Oxford Lions Club presents a community fall festival featuring a full day of entertainment, food, and plenty of opportunities to browse vendor booths in an easily accessible setting. The Oxford Lions Club is a nonprofit, philanthropic service organization dedicated to eliminating blindness and diabetes through research and by supporting organizations in and around the community. Vendor spaces measure 10 by 10 feet, are outdoors in all weather, operate on a first come basis, and fees are nonrefundable. This is a juried event that limits similar items to maintain variety, and food vendors must meet additional Board of Health permit requirements. Vendors are asked to donate one item for a raffle at the Lions booth. The festival maintains a family friendly atmosphere, and booth spaces remain available.

Hosted by the Mansfield Downtown Partnership, this 23rd annual celebration fills Downtown Storrs with interactive activities for all ages, live music, puppetry, and dance, plus more to explore. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. It is Mansfield's largest community event.
