Fling Nation Gulf Coast Wold Cup

Pensacola · Level Up Gaming, 1132 Creighton Rd

A dedicated Blood Bowl 11s gathering built entirely around Halfling teams brings six games across two days with a full slate of prizes and swag. Entry is 40 dollars, or 45 dollars for non NAF members, and every coach receives dice, tokens, snacks, and a custom Star Player figure. Each Fling coach is limited to a single regional event entry. Team construction uses 1,050,000 gold for players, inducements, sideline staff, and Star Players, along with 66 Star Player Points to purchase skills and stars. Coaches may select up to two Star Players from the approved list, but only after hiring eleven non star players. Only one star may have a final cost at or above 200,000 gold once surcharges are applied. Star Players with Block or Tackle add 50,000 gold, or 100,000 if they have both, and that surcharge counts toward the 200,000 threshold. Stars must be bought with both gold and Star Player Points as listed. Grak and Crumbleberry together count as two stars, and stars from different leagues can appear on the same roster. There is no Highlander rule, so the same star, such as Puggy Baconbreath, may appear on both teams in a match. Coaches choose skills and stat boosts freely within the limits. Each player can receive up to two total upgrades that may be skills, stat increases, or a mix. Primary skills cost 6 Star Player Points and secondary skills cost 12. Elite skills such as Block, Dodge, Guard, and Mighty Blow add an extra 5 Star Player Points. Stat increases cost 20 Star Player Points for the first increase on a player and 24 for the second on that same player. Across your selections you may include up to two instances of the same skill or two steps of the same stat increase, for example two times Block, two Hail Mary passes, or plus two Agility. Scoring uses 7 points for a win, 3 for a draw, and 0 for a loss. Bonus points are available for each one turn touchdown achieved at the beginning of a drive, for a single player scoring three touchdowns, for holding the opponent scoreless, and for giving up no casualties. A tentative flow outlines registration and setup, four rounds on the first day, then setup with a group photo, two more rounds on the second day, Triple Skulls, and awards to close. Awards include Tournament Champion, second place, third place, Most TDs, Most Cas, and Fling Glory, which recognizes a combination of Airmiles, Greased Pig, and Got Wood. Special wooden honors are also planned, with Wooden Knife for the participant who traveled the farthest, Wooden Fork for second to last place, and Wooden Spoon for last place. Eligible Star Players include Akhorne the Squirrel, Bertha Bigfist, Big Jobo Hairyfoot, Cindy Piewhistle, Deeproot Strongbanch, Grak, Crumbleberry, Grombrindal the White Dwarf, Maple Highgrove, Neddley Verruca, Puggy Baconbreath, Rodney Roachbait, Rowana Forestfoot, Rumbelow Sheepskin, Swiftvine Glimmershard, and Willow Rosebark.

    Evan Honer

Pensacola · Vinyl Music Hall, 12 Palafox Pl

Evan Honer brings the It’s An Even Longer Road Tour to Vinyl Music Hall with special guest Sam Burchfield. The evening showcases a songwriter who leapt from a viral breakout to a relentless touring life, channeling that momentum into new music and an evolving sound. After relocating to Nashville, he balanced an international run of shows with building a home studio in his four-car garage and growing Cloverdale Records from his living room, supporting 25 artists across more than 100 releases. He played close to a hundred shows while championing his second album, Fighting For, and kept writing for what became Everything I Wanted. That project was tracked at home over 18 days and pushes his music beyond acoustic Americana toward indie and alternative pop, with strings from neighbor Kate Stephenson, horn parts, pedal steel, and contributions from his roommates. Themes of romance, resilience, roots, and connection with fans thread through songs like Maybe For Once, It’s a Home, Place I Hate, Waiting Room, Curtain, Finally Commit, Wonder, and Lose a Friend, shaped alongside producers Garrett Hall, Shane Travis, and a small circle of collaborators, with touchstones that include Andy Shauf, Medium Build, and Pinegrove. Honer’s path began with a cover of Tyler Childers’ Jersey Giant that drew more than 200 million streams and later earned RIAA gold, all while he juggled college classes, solo gigs, and Division 1 swimming. He released his debut, West On I-10, on graduation day and hit the road, ultimately surpassing 500 million streams and selling out shows with artists like Wyatt Flores. Onstage he leans into storytelling and open-hearted vocals, taking stock of the moment even as he keeps moving. This is a general admission, standing room only show and is open to all ages. Attendees under 21 will be charged an additional cash surcharge at the door. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult guardian. Lineups and schedules may change, and tickets flagged for resale purposes may be canceled at the discretion of Vinyl Music Hall and SeeTickets. There are no refunds and no re-entry.

    Red Dawn 2026

Pensacola · Level Up Gaming, 1132 Creighton Rd

Level Up Gaming in Pensacola hosts an in-store gathering that ties into Red Dawn 2026, a decentralized 12 week narrative campaign. The campaign is noncompetitive and uses adapted Bagration Firestorm rules, featuring firestorm troops and rewards cards similar to those found in the Flames of War Aces Campaign Card sets. Play is organized across multiple clubs and local game stores, with Redfor and Blufor teams each led by a General. Team commanders at each location place battle arrows to determine where fighting occurs, and outcomes are tracked on a shared campaign map supported by a command center and team chats. The schedule alternates between Campaign Map Battles and Shaping Operations. Map Battle weeks influence movement on the campaign map and require at least two games. Shaping Operations are optional games that add overall campaign points and provide opportunities to earn rewards cards without changing the map. Forces for Map Battles typically range from 85 to 105 points, while Shaping Operations can use smaller forces around 50 to 60 points or the same larger totals. There are no force or nation restrictions, and sides are determined using Battlefront alignments. Cost is 15.00 USD per playgroup, and participants enroll through the combatcommand app. This in-store event brings campaign players together for narrative games that feed directly into the larger Redfor versus Blufor storyline.

    The Revivalists

Pensacola · Community Maritime Park, 301 W Main St

The Revivalists bring their genre-blending live show to Hunter Amphitheater, presented by The Handlebar, with special guests to be announced. Long celebrated for an uplifting mix of indie rock, soul, folk, and touches of hip-hop, the eight-piece first took shape after a chance meeting between singer David Shaw and guitarist Zack Feinberg, growing from small clubs to major concert halls and amphitheaters. On stage they perform as a two-drummer unit with PJ Howard and Andrew Campanelli, anchored by bassist George Gekas and elevated by Rob Ingraham on horns, Michael Girardot on keyboards, and Ed Williams on pedal steel. With seven members now fathers, their sixth album, Get It Honest, turns toward adulthood’s deeper themes, focusing on letting go of what holds you back and embracing what matters most, including love, grace, and salvation. The performance brings that journey to life, pairing the band’s spirited energy with songs that speak to growth and hard-won perspective.
