Miracle League Charity Volleyball Tournament

A two day charity volleyball tournament at Salty Rose brings players, sponsors, and supporters together to raise funds for Miracle League. Organized by ALL-IN Sports Club and Florida Man Volleyball, the event directs every dollar of tournament profit to Miracle League to help update and improve its fields. The weekend opens with the optional Miracle Mile, a one mile beach run on Pensacola Beach carrying the American, Miracle League, ALL-IN Sports Club, and Florida Man Volleyball flags to honor the community of sponsors, volunteers, friends, families, and athletes behind the cause. Saturday features pool play on the sand, followed by a beach pub crawl with prize giveaways at each stop, including items like gift cards, league entries, future crawl spots, sponsor donations, and beach themed surprises. Sunday wraps up with tournament play and a shared focus on community impact. Two divisions are offered. Competitive teams contend for a cash purse that grows with sponsor support, while the unrated division plays for a prize package provided by local sponsors. Registration is open to participants 15 and older. Players under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present. Teams must keep at least one female player on the court at all times. Each registration covers one player. Team sign ups are preferred, but individuals are welcome to register as Free Agents and will be placed on teams or grouped with others. Teammate requests can be noted during registration when available, though placement is not guaranteed. The heart of the event is simple. It creates opportunities for Miracle League athletes to play, compete, and laugh, and it gives families a place to build lasting memories from the sidelines.

Sand: Dinosaur 160s Tourney-Co-Ed 4s 1 Girl

A co-ed 4s sand volleyball tournament takes place at The Salty Rose at The Pensacola Beach Resort, built around the Dinosaur 160s format that celebrates veteran players. Teams field four players with at least one woman on the court at all times and may register up to five players total. The combined age minimum is 160 for teams of four, and if a fifth player is rostered the minimum rises to 200. IDs are submitted in advance through a secure app for age verification. Competition features pool play with round robin matches and scheduled teams officiating and recording scores, and single elimination is used as part of the event. Pool play uses rally scoring as noted on the score sheets. Dinosaur rules bring back old school play, including no let serves and side-out scoring to 12 with a 14-point cap, where only the serving team can earn a point. The older team may begin with a small advantage, gaining one point for every four years of age difference up to four points, calculated from a designated four-player set that must include the youngest if five are rostered. Gameplay notes include no blocking or attacking the serve, no open-hand tips, no lifts or doubles, clean hand sets that are square if sent over, lines are in, contact with the antenna or outside the antenna is out, the ball must pass between the antennas, no net touches, and service order must be maintained, including when a fifth player rotates in. Disputed points are replayed quickly, and sportsmanship and fun are emphasized. Entry is $30 per player in cash, with a higher day-of rate of $40 per player. Prizes are planned and may be adjusted if fewer than ten teams participate. First place pays $400 plus additional items to be announced, and second place receives its entry back plus items to be announced. The oldest registered team earns free entry. Teams must have four players present to begin a match. Rosters are fixed with no substitutions outside the registered lineup; if an injury prevents a team from meeting the minimums, the team forfeits unless the tournament director makes an exception before or early in pool play, and no new players may be added during playoffs. In case of severe weather, official updates are sent to participants ahead of check-in. As an outdoor event, formats, schedules, divisions, prizes, or the event itself may be modified, delayed, rescheduled, shortened, combined, or canceled if conditions require it. Any refunds, credits, or partial refunds related to weather or interruptions are determined solely by the organizers, with participant safety as the top priority.
