Participants learn the essentials of natural color making through a guided demonstration on preparing plant-based paints, mixing formulas, and recognizing how different species influence color. Everyone will create a sampler of color studies with provided materials, then design a personalized piece using stencils and hand-applied pigments. All materials are included, and each person leaves with a set of naturally dyed artworks. Suitable for ages 12 and up. Tickets are $30 and available through Eventbrite. Big Feelings (Reactivity) Group Dog Training Class

    Happy With Dogs, Miami
    See details

Big Feelings is a small-group training class created for dogs that struggle with reactivity and sensitivity. It is a good fit for dogs that bark or lunge on leash, become overstimulated by dogs, people, bikes, or movement, have trouble staying calm in public places, or shut down, freeze, or panic outside. This is not a free-for-all social session. Group size is intentionally limited so each dog can work safely, stay under threshold, and build confidence at a comfortable pace. Instruction focuses on improving leash handling, recognizing a dog’s threshold before reactions escalate, using practical coping strategies for reactivity, building engagement and focus around triggers, and developing real-world handling skills that translate to everyday walks. The goal is to help dogs and their handlers feel calmer, safer, and more confident together. The cost is $75 per dog. Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination is required. Dogs remain leashed at all times and will be carefully spaced for safety and success. Capacity is very limited due to the hands-on format.
