Soulful SUP (Stand Up Paddle) Yoga

Experience a floating yoga practice on the clear, spring-fed waters of King’s Bay in Crystal River. The outing begins with an easy paddle through a bay known for manatees, followed by a 75-minute all-levels SUP yoga flow surrounded by sun and calm water. It suits practitioners who are comfortable on the water, have a yoga practice, and enjoy trying something new. Beginners are welcome. Cost is $50 and includes a board, paddle, personal flotation device, anchor, and the yoga class. The price is $25 if bringing your own board, and participants should also bring a PFD and an anchor. Learn the essentials of sourdough in a hands-on workshop that covers making your own starter and shaping a classic boule. Participants receive a kit to take home so the baking can continue afterward. A 5 to 6 quart Dutch oven that can withstand 450 degrees is recommended.

Booze, Brushes & Buoys

Settle into the bowling alley bar at Bowlero for a nautical paint class that swaps pins for paint. The featured project is a small anchor drifting on the sea with a playful nod to hitting rock bottom. Enjoy bar food and your favorite drinks while you create. All regular classes are $37 and prepayment is accepted via CashApp $Gnarlycarlyart or Venmo @Gnarlycarlyart. The class lasts 3 hours, welcomes ages 8 and up, and includes a 16 by 12 canvas, all supplies, guided instruction, and prizes. CIT - Swim Lessons for ages 3-5: Stage 1, 2 & 3 - Lecanto, FL 2026

Designed for children ages 3 to 5, this swim program at Citrus Memorial Health Foundation YMCA covers Stages 1 through 3. In Stage 1, Water Acclimation, young swimmers build confidence going underwater and learn how to exit safely if they unexpectedly end up in the water, laying a strong foundation for skills that follow. Stages 2 and 3 continue the progression for this age group.

Kayak Trip on Chassahowitzka River

A two-hour kayak outing on the Chassahowitzka River, based at Chassahowitzka River Campground, offers opportunities to observe herons, egrets, Limpkins, and Ospreys on the nest. Migrating birds moving north may also be seen. Sightings of manatees and river otters are possible and often a highlight. The trip is intended for experienced kayakers who bring their own boats, and participation is limited.

Everyday English

The ESOL program is designed to help non-native English speakers enhance their language abilities. This class focuses on listening, speaking, reading, and writing, as well as grammar and vocabulary. Adult learners can improve their English communication skills through conversation groups. Registration is required.

Kayak the Chassahowitzka River — Hernando Audubon Society

Join an approximately two-hour kayak trip on the Chassahowitzka River to see various herons and egrets, as well as Limpkins and nesting Ospreys. Hopefully, youll spot migrating birds and, if youre lucky, manatees and river otters. This outing is limited to experienced kayakers who can bring their own kayaks.

Belly Dancing Class

2026 Citrus Kids Triathlon

Bicentennial Park hosts a youth triathlon featuring a swim, a bike ride, and a run, presented with Tampa General Hospital-Crystal River as the title sponsor. Participants can choose from three options. The Age Group races welcome children ages 5 to 15, with Junior for those born 2014 to 2019 and Senior for those born 2009 to 2013. The Tri4Fun division is non-competitive and allows adults and kids to complete the course together. Every finisher receives a medal, and awards recognize the top three males and females in each single-year age group. Proceeds support CCEF.

Mosquito Control Facility Tour
