Haunted Lighthouse Tour

The Pensacola Lighthouse opens after dark for a haunted tour that delves into its eerie past. The site has been spotlighted by the Travel Channel and Ghost Hunters, and many psychics and investigators regard it as among the most haunted lighthouses in the country. Guests explore the Keeper's Quarters dating to 1869, hear the landmark's best known ghost stories, and take part in a guided search for paranormal activity. Weather permitting, participants may ascend the lighthouse tower for rare nighttime views across Pensacola Bay. The tour lasts about two hours. Tickets are $20 per person and the event is limited to ages 13 and up. Group sizes are kept small and spots often fill quickly. The tour takes place at the Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum on Naval Air Station Pensacola. Civilians must use the designated shuttle to access the lighthouse, with pickup details provided in confirmation emails. If civilian tickets are no longer available, shuttle capacity has been reached. Military guests with DoD ID and base access may drive directly, and escort privileges are required to bring civilian guests. Visitors entering federal installations may be required to present a REAL ID or another acceptable form of identification. Upon arrival, attendees are organized into small groups, and those booking separately who wish to stay together can note this during registration. The museum may refuse service to anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behavior could affect safety. Cancellations made at least three days in advance receive a full refund. Refunds are also issued if the tour is canceled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. No shows are charged the full amount.

Experience a narrative Team Yankee Red Dawn campaign at Level Up Gaming in Pensacola, Florida. The format spans two days with multiple rounds, including a doubles segment on the second day. An entry fee of $15 is due at check-in. Lunch breaks are included, with a catered meal planned for the first day. Campaign standings are updated during the event and prizes are awarded at the conclusion. Armies field 105 points for regular battles and 50 points for small missions, and players choosing small missions should bring a 50 point list. Eligible factions are Soviet, Cuban, American, British, Canadian, and West German. Full British and West German formations are allowed. Any force organized under one of the listed nations’ structures may be used, for example Iraqi or Syrian forces played as Cubans. Unofficial forces from Jeramy Moore’s Fate of Europe book are permitted, but none of the single or immediate use command cards from that book may be taken. Special rules draw from the FoW Bagration Firestorm Campaign. Firestorm troops are in play, an Out of Supply table may impose adverse effects, and NBC rules apply. Rewards cards similar to those in FoW Aces campaigns can be earned and used. Some games may feature forces with unequal points. There is no painting requirement unless entering the painting competition. Models need at least three colors to qualify, participants vote for the winner, and any tie is settled by a neutral third party. Prize categories include Best Bluefor Commander and Best Redfor Commander, each receiving a Red Dawn Golden Arches objective marker valued at $30. Best Painted and Best Sportsmanship earn store credit along with a unique objective marker. All participants receive game support aids, and those who play both days receive a rare objective marker.

Fans attending home games can bring healthy, nonperishable donations, with collection boxes set up by the gate entrance and on the concourse near Ben's Card World. Most needed items include peanut butter in containers 28 ounces or smaller including to-go cups, Hormel Compleats microwaveable meals, boxes of oatmeal with individual packets, canned fruit packed in 100 percent juice in 20-ounce or smaller containers, tuna or chicken in cans or pouches up to 12.5 ounces, and canned vegetables including tomatoes in 16-ounce or smaller cans. Donors who give during home games are eligible to receive a Whataburger coupon. Monetary contributions can also be made online to support Manna.

Guitarist and vocalist Harry Valentino, bassist Oliver Sentence, and drummer Heath Campbell blend funk, rock, disco, jazz, metal, punk, and soul into a sound that feels both new and nostalgically familiar. Their catalog includes Burnt Toast & Coffee, Gossip, Burnin', and a bold rendition of Herbie Hancock's Chameleon, and their live show reflects the tight musicianship earned through extensive touring and festival appearances at Boomtown, Suwannee Hulaween, and Glastonbury, where they delivered three performances in a single day. The band releases music on its own RPN Records imprint, home to the charting debut Life's Too Fast. Their follow-up, Twice As Nice, was recorded at East Iris Studios in Nashville and RAK Studios in London and propels a 50-date run across the United States and Canada.

Crab Cake Cook-Off 2026

At Seville Quarter, the Crab Cake Cook-Off brings an award-winning culinary celebration with crab cake creativity, live entertainment, and a silent auction, all in support of a meaningful cause. Culinary teams consist of up to three members, including a captain, and prepare six full-size crab cakes for the judges along with 350 quarter-size tastings for guests. Ingredients may be prepped ahead, but every crab cake must be cooked on site. Each team receives a skirted eight-foot table plus plates, napkins, and forks, and may add branded table coverings and decor to personalize the space. Cooking is limited to gas such as butane or propane, and electric griddles are discouraged because of power limitations. Top honors include both a Judge's Choice and a People's Choice award. A world premiere presentation rooted in the playwright's family history, this new work reflects on 1915 during World War I, when Armenia was attacked by the Ottoman Empire and approximately a million people were killed. It presents a personal window into that history.

Juvenile and the 400 Degreez Band

Juvenile teams up with the 400 Degreez Band for a performance at Vinyl Music Hall that traces the legacy of a New Orleans icon. Teruis 'Juvenile' Gray began writing professionally in his early teens and helped shape Bounce music. Since his 1995 debut 'Being Myself', he has released 12 albums, including '400 Degreez', cited as the top selling album by a Black solo rapper, and he led The Hot Boys, contributing to more than 10 million albums sold worldwide. He is credited as the first Southern rapper to receive national airplay with 'Ha', and his anthem 'Back That Azz Up' has carried New Orleans sound and culture around the world for 25 years. A viral request on social media later sparked a widely publicized journey to NPR for a high energy Tiny Desk performance featuring Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, the 400 Degreez Band, and DJ Mannie Fresh. Beyond music, Gray has launched ventures including the Made By Juvie custom furniture brand and the Juvie Juice beverage, brewed on the same street where his great grandmother and grandfather once lived. This show at Vinyl Music Hall is general admission and standing room only, and it is open to all ages. Attendees younger than 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult guardian, and guests under 21 will be charged an additional $5 in cash at the door. Lineups and times may change, and tickets suspected of being purchased solely for resale may be canceled at the discretion of Vinyl Music Hall or SeeTickets. There are no refunds, there are no exceptions, and there is no re-entry.

Blind Date with a Book (and Cats!)

Enjoy a cozy pop-up that pairs surprise reads with quality time among adoptable cats, presented in partnership with Perfect Day Bookstore. A $50 ticket includes a hot drink, seventy-five minutes in the cat lounge, and a wrapped “Blind Date” book selected from an on-site book truck. Each book is covered with brief clues so you can choose the vibe that fits, then settle in with your new read and some feline company. Capacity is intentionally limited to keep the lounge calm, with a maximum of six people per group. A waiver is required. The parking lot has only five spaces, so carpooling is encouraged, and there is additional street and public parking nearby. All proceeds support the care of the cats and the upkeep of the catfe.

PSC presents the 2026 S.H.O.W. production of Bye Bye Birdie, a musical that celebrates and playfully teases 1950s small town life, teen culture, and the rise of rock and roll. When teen idol Conrad Birdie is drafted, he picks All-American Kim MacAfee of Sweet Apple, Ohio for a widely publicized goodbye kiss, turning the community upside down. The score features songs like Put On a Happy Face, the rapid-fire teen chorus The Telephone Hour, and the high energy A Lot of Livin’ to Do.

Dan Alten delivers smart, playful absurdity shaped by a decade on the road, tallying over 150 performances each year in venues that range from theaters and punk basements to art galleries and established comedy clubs. Imagine the Ramones’ spirit distilled into one mustachioed stand-up with sharp jokes. He has shared stages with Kyle Kinane, Bobcat, Sam Tallent, Rory Scovel, SNL’s Sarah Sherman, Johnny Pemberton, Hari Kondabolu, rapper Open Mike Eagle, DJ Doug Pound and David Leibe Hart from Tim and Eric, plus punk bands with tongue-in-cheek names and even an open mic act who attempted to toss his father’s ashes into the audience. His creative work spans two albums, a zine, and a pilot for an Amazon Prime stand-up series that never saw release. The set blends affable absurdity with a punk streak.
