Enjoy an evening of stand-up with Doug Canney, an international touring headliner who also works in voice-over and television, and once toured as a musician in the 80s. 3v3 Mixed Sand Volleyball Mini Tourney

A mixed 3-on-3 sand volleyball mini tournament at Ticket Sports Bar #2 invites teams to bring their own trio, with coed lineups set as either two men and one woman or two women and one man. The team entry covers up to three players. Pool play determines seeding, then the top teams advance to a single-elimination bracket. For each playoff match, the higher seed chooses to serve, receive, or select a side, and the lower seed picks from what remains. Basic Kaboom beach rules apply. Players may not screen the serve or block the receiver’s view of the server or the ball’s flight, and the serving order stays the same for the set. A served ball cannot be attacked above net height, and serves may not be received with open hands. Any overhand pass or set that crosses the net must travel in line with the passer’s shoulders whether forward or backward. Attack hits cannot use open-handed finger action and fingertips must be firm and together. Touching the net is not permitted. Rally scoring is used. Each team is allowed one 30 second timeout per set. Substitutions are not allowed in the playoffs, only rostered players may participate. Have fun and play fair. Food and drink deals are available, including $10 Ultra pitchers, $4 Neon or Grape bomb shots, a $10 smash burger with fries, a $10 chicken bacon ranch wrap with fries, and $5 chips and queso.

Light of the Moon Climb

Take an after-hours climb at the historic Pensacola Lighthouse for sweeping Gulf Coast views. From the top of the tower, watch sunset over Pensacola Bay and see the moon rise over the water in a single visit. The working first-order Fresnel lens will be visible in operation as it sends a beam up to 27 miles offshore to aid navigation. The rate is $25 per person, and the experience lasts about two hours including shuttle transportation. The climb takes place at the Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum on Naval Air Station Pensacola. Civilians must use the designated shuttle to access the site, and driving is not permitted for them. Follow the pickup instructions provided in your confirmation email. Guests with DoD ID and base access may drive their own vehicle and should note this in the booking comments. Children riding the shuttle must be at least 6 years old and at least 44 inches tall. Wear shoes with a secure back, since backless footwear without a heel or ankle strap may result in being asked to climb the tower barefoot. Leave backpacks and oversized bags in your vehicle, as they are not allowed inside the museum or the tower. Visitors to federal installations may be required to present a REAL ID or another acceptable form of identification. Cancellations made at least three days in advance receive a full refund, and full refunds are also issued if the event is canceled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. 2026 Firecracker 5K

The 2026 Firecracker 5K unfolds in historic downtown Pensacola and supports Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida. The route starts and finishes at Seville Quarter and welcomes runners and walkers. Participants are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue to match the Fourth of July theme. A Kids Fun Run follows the main race. Finishers receive a medal and can enjoy the McDonald's After Party inside Seville Quarter with a drink, giveaways, and more. Regular registration closes before the event, and late registration is $50 until the race begins. Race packets can be picked up at Apple Annie's within Seville Quarter, with an additional pickup option available inside Seville Quarter on race day.

Symphony Sparks & Stars

A patriotic evening in Pensacola marks America’s 250th birthday alongside the 10th anniversary of this beloved community tradition, bringing families together to celebrate the nation and honor the military. The Pensacola Symphony Orchestra leads the program, joined by the McGuire’s Pipe Band in its first appearance at the event, a thrilling military flyover, and the largest fireworks display over Pensacola Bay. Presented by Attorney Peter Mougey with Levin Papantonio, the celebration takes place at the Hunter Amphitheatre behind Blue Wahoos Stadium. General admission seating is free thanks to sponsor support. Chairs and blankets are welcome for comfortable seating, and listeners may tune to NewsRadio FM 92.3 to hear the orchestra’s performance. Dates, times, and programs are subject to change.

Free QPR Suicide Prevention Training

Free QPR Suicide Prevention Training provides a practical introduction to Question, Persuade, and Refer, three straightforward steps anyone can use to support someone in crisis. Similar in spirit to CPR, the program prepares everyday people to notice warning signs and suicidal communication, begin a caring conversation with confidence, and connect individuals to appropriate resources. No prior experience is required. Participants receive a QPR booklet and a resource card for real-life situations. The session takes place at the United Way of West Florida office, and trainings are offered quarterly to strengthen a caring, connected community.

Crab Cake Cook-Off 2026

At Seville Quarter, the Crab Cake Cook-Off brings an award-winning culinary celebration with crab cake creativity, live entertainment, and a silent auction, all in support of a meaningful cause. Culinary teams consist of up to three members, including a captain, and prepare six full-size crab cakes for the judges along with 350 quarter-size tastings for guests. Ingredients may be prepped ahead, but every crab cake must be cooked on site. Each team receives a skirted eight-foot table plus plates, napkins, and forks, and may add branded table coverings and decor to personalize the space. Cooking is limited to gas such as butane or propane, and electric griddles are discouraged because of power limitations. Top honors include both a Judge's Choice and a People's Choice award. Team spots are limited and expected to fill quickly. Presented with support from Sims Orthodonics.

Save Ferris delivers a high-energy show built on the ska, punk, and rock blend that launched the band from Orange County. Starting in 1995 with house parties and small venues, the group gained early momentum when KROQ’s Rodney Bingenheimer aired their cover of Dexys Midnight Runners’ Come On Eileen, securing regular spins without a record deal as vocalist Monique Powell also managed the band. Epic Records signed them in 1997, their debut It Means Everything followed, and they spent the next six years touring worldwide. After a pause in 2003, Powell revived the project in 2013 with a new lineup, celebrating the return with a sold-out night at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa and a Santa Monica Pier performance that drew over 20,000 people. Powell remains at the forefront with an onstage presence that powers the live experience. Following extensive touring in 2023 and new music prepared for 2024, the band takes the stage with fresh momentum.
