Release & Receive - Yoga Nidra + Sound Bath

St Augustine · Intera Yoga, 2600 US Highway 1 S

Release the intensity of summer and welcome the softer feel of autumn during a two-hour restorative workshop centered on slowing down and deep relaxation. The experience begins with about 45 minutes of Yin Yoga, a gentle, unhurried practice that uses foundational postures to support mobility, hydrate the body’s fascial network, and guide attention inward into a calm, meditative space. You will then settle into a comfortable resting position for a 45 minute Yoga Nidra, a guided practice that invites effortless meditation. Yoga Nidra includes creating a Sankalpa, or personal vow, to encourage a positive bhavana. Bhavana, meaning cultivating, is a way to intentionally strengthen internal feelings, energy, and attitudes. Often called yogic sleep, Yoga Nidra calms the nervous system and supports the parasympathetic response so body and mind can restore deeply without actually sleeping. The workshop closes with a soothing sound bath using crystal singing bowls and chimes to further ease the mind and body. Comfortable clothing is recommended, and layers can help if you tend to cool down in stillness. A journal can be brought for any reflections you may wish to note.

    The Dandelion Circle

St Augustine · Intera Yoga, 2600 US Highway 1 S

This secular circle fosters candid conversation, connection, and the sharing of wisdom across generations. It welcomes cis and trans women, as well as nonbinary and gender-expansive people who feel at home in a women-centered space. Together, participants explore how varied experiences of womanhood are shaped by culture and systems, with room to talk about relationships, identity, caregiving, bodies, work, aging, patriarchy, misogyny, and the everyday realities of moving through the world. Each gathering invites reflection on the highs and lows of the past month and on what is present in participants’ lives, with attentive listening that builds intergenerational connection. There is no set agenda. Conversations grow from what people are actually living. The space welcomes multiple truths at once, whether joy, transition, grief, anger, uncertainty, or possibility, and nothing shared needs to be fixed or turned positive. No specific expression of femininity is expected, and no previous circle experience is required. This is a true pay-what-you-can gathering. Contributions, including zero, support shared items such as snacks and drinks and may also cover materials like crafts or flowers provided by the facilitator.
