Please note that dogs, alcohol, and glass are not permitted on the Causeway, and police patrol the area and issue fines for violations. The Tarpon Springs Triathlon brings athletes together at Fred Howard Park in Tarpon Springs, Florida to raise scholarship funds for local students through the Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs. For more than 40 years, the event has helped award hundreds of scholarships, and each registration continues that tradition. Participants can choose from Sprint and Olympic triathlon distances, a duathlon, an aquabike, or a 5K run. Options welcome both seasoned competitors and first timers, with opportunities to swim, bike, and run while supporting students in the local community.

Enjoy a lively pickleball get-together with impromptu matches and an upbeat atmosphere. Healthies will be serving boba beverages, energy-boosting refreshers, protein balls, and sweet protein treats.

Enjoy a free, all-levels yoga flow outside The Patch Dunedin with guidance from Warrior ONE Dunedin at the Gerald Rehm Pavilion next to Nature’s Food Patch Market & Café Downtown Dunedin. Newcomers are encouraged and first-timers are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat, and a few extras will be available to borrow. Pitch in for the Salty Soul Foundation’s monthly beach cleanup along the Dunedin Causeway, focused on caring for the shoreline and ocean. Since 2017, the foundation has removed more than 33,000 pounds of debris from beaches in Florida and California, and this effort continues that mission one beach at a time. All cleanup supplies will be provided, including gloves, buckets, and trash bags, and sun protection is encouraged. Local partners from the Tampa Bay area will participate, offering a chance to connect with community groups dedicated to environmental stewardship. Salty Soul gear will be for sale, with proceeds supporting cleanup costs and advertising. The gathering will also celebrate Hunu’s Journey, the children’s book by co-founders John and Mary, recognizing its influence in inspiring the next generation of ocean caretakers.

Build a solid skating foundation with a beginner class at Astro Skate Tarpon Springs. Created for ages 4 and up, this 60-minute session welcomes first-time skaters and focuses on comfortable, safe movement on wheels in a friendly setting. Participants practice standing and balancing, gliding forward with control, and coming to a safe stop, with fun games that reinforce new skills. Instruction is provided by USARS Certified Instructors. Admission is $10 at the door, and rental skates are included, or bring your own. A simple lottery sets the order of service using Food Give Away Cards that are handed out and then drawn at random. After distribution begins, newcomers receive a smiley face and are served at the end since no new cards can be issued once things are underway. The giveaway takes place under the pavilion at HOB Brewing Co.

The festivities begin with a cocktail hour for mingling amid eye catching decor, quiet time to browse silent auction items, and an interactive photo booth. Dinner follows along with special announcements, then a live entertainer takes the stage. Participants bring puzzles in good condition, any size, and they must be complete with all pieces present. Attendees can leave with the same number they contribute. Selection happens in rounds as numbers are called to keep things fair, and any leftovers are available at the end. A puzzle-themed prize drawing adds a bit of fun. Participants may stay to chat, work at a shared puzzle table, or browse the shop for more puzzles, games, and gift items.
