Settle in for an outdoor movie on the renovated Decatur Square as Zootopia 2 lights up the new big screen. Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and your crew for a fun night under the stars. Follow rookie officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde as they go undercover on a dangerous case that turns the animal metropolis on its head. Admission is free and open to all. Snacks include $1 bags of popcorn, and Kona Ice will be available for purchase. Presented by Visit Decatur GA and the Decatur Downtown Development Authority. This screening is part of a continuing outdoor film series with more movies planned throughout the year.

Enjoy a family-focused summer gathering at Perkerson Park in Atlanta with free King of Pops, kids' activities, and time to connect with the community, hosted by FoPP.

Marking the Garden’s 50th anniversary, this encore exhibition showcases the monumental imagination of French artist Niki de Saint Phalle, bringing together a vibrant array of outdoor and indoor sculptures. A trailblazer among women creating large-scale works, de Saint Phalle is celebrated for her colorful Nanas as well as expressive figures, animals, and fantastical creatures. Featuring 41 pieces, the presentation is believed to be the most extensive display of her work in North America. Most artworks are on loan from the Niki Charitable Art Foundation, complemented by contributions from private collections. Installations span the grounds and appear in the Conservatory, the Orchid Center, and the Gardenhouse Gallery. The scope ranges from the 2,000 pounds Grand Step Totem and the 16.5 foot Large Yelling Man to compact wall reliefs measuring 2 feet by 2 feet. The Three Graces are installed in the Skyline Garden pond, and an interpretive exhibit about the artist and her practice is located near the entrance to the Orchid Display House. Access to the exhibition is included with regular Garden admission.

Little explorers can enjoy playful, hands-on activities that nurture curiosity about the natural world. Designed for children ages 6 months to 5 years, this outdoor program encourages discovery through age-appropriate experiences. Activities are weather dependent and may be canceled if rain or other conditions make outdoor programming impractical.

At the Center for Puppetry Arts, a high-voltage theatrical event brings the legendary rivalry between Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla to life. A tireless entrepreneur and master showman faces a visionary dreamer whose imagination crackles with lightning, tracing one of the most storied contests of the industrial age. Museum admission is included, and Midtown parking is free. Tickets range from $24 to $36.
