Cartersville Farmers Market is now at its new location, Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Family Savings Credit Union marks 75 years with a traveling Diamond Dig series across Alabama and Georgia, and the Calhoun branch is one of the celebratory stops. A custom trailer filled with dirt and sand sets the stage for registered participants to dig for prizes, including a real diamond necklace valued at nearly $1,000 at this event. Each participant will uncover one diamond-shaped capsule containing a prize or giveaway, with a limit of one prize per person. Possible prizes include cash, gift cards, jewelry, and Family Savings Credit Union merchandise. Beyond the dig, the celebration features family-friendly activities such as balloon creations by Big Sam Balloon Man, face painting with Brandy Still, a 360 photo booth from LF Multimedia, jumpy houses provided by Edgeway Events, and music from a DJ with TG Tech LLC. Food trucks will offer items for purchase from A Little Something Extra ice cream and Papa Queso Grilled Cheese. The gathering honors 75 years of people helping people and expresses appreciation for the communities that have supported Family Savings Credit Union.

This Pokémon locals event features single-game rounds. The entry fee is $5, and each participant receives a prize pack with their entry.

Enjoy a book-themed tea party where guests can dress as a favorite literary character and savor four premium teas alongside sandwiches, scones, and sweets presented on a serving stand with three tiers. Bring a book if you would like to participate in a book swap. Reservations are available.

An artist-led gallery walk and talk with Jeremy Lipking unfolds in the Temporary Exhibition Gallery and the Bergman Theatre. The program begins with a tour of his retrospective, a survey of three decades of painting from 1996 to 2026, then continues with a presentation that explores the work in greater depth. It offers a final opportunity to hear Lipking reflect on this major exhibition celebrating 30 years of his career. Capacity is limited and advance registration is required. Free for Booth members, with general admission for nonmembers.

Live music will be performed at Elevate Cartersville. The event features a performer delivering a live set at the venue.

The GEM Ole' Opry, sponsored by Mauldin Trash and Samantha Lusk & Associates Realty, brings a legendary showcase of local talent to The GEM Theatre. Hosted by Faye Bentley as Minnie Pearl, this musical journey features performers of all ages singing with a house band and honoring the music of Glen Campbell, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette and more. The event supports The Pearl, the new cultural arts center at The GEM, with all talents generously appearing to help advance the project.

Booth Art Academy presents a three-day portrait painting workshop with artist Jeremy Lipking that focuses on capturing light and presence. Each morning begins with Jeremy painting from a live model, followed by personalized critiques and guidance for every participant. The first day centers on completing an alla prima portrait in a single sitting. The second and third days are devoted to building a second painting with greater development and nuance. By the conclusion, attendees will have created two finished works across the three sessions. Enrollment ranges from 8 to 16 students. Tuition is $1,300 for museum members and $1,375 for non-members.

Compete in a One Piece locals tournament with a $5 entry fee. All entrants receive a pack from the 2026 Tournament Kit vol. 3. First place also takes a winner pack and $10 in store credit.
