Pub quiz trivia takes place at Los Portales Mexican Restaurant in Rome, Georgia, featuring Kisha and Lamont with Free Ride Entertainment. The quiz covers 38 categories, is family friendly, and includes prizes awarded. Guests can enjoy nachos with queso and a variety of margaritas.

Select vehicles from the temporary exhibit From Stock Cars to Racecars will be presented with their hoods open as part of Hoods Up! Weekend. This program is supported in part by Courtyard Marriott, Cartersville.

The Georgia Trust’s Fall Ramble visits Rome and Floyd County with opportunities to go inside standout private homes and engaging historic sites across Northwest Georgia. This fall exploration opens doors throughout the community and highlights the area’s historic places.

Geared to ages 12 to 17, this hands-on art session explores color, motion, and shadow through a sculptural project. Participants will paint and cut freeform shapes from an unconventional material to evoke the look of transparent glass, then build a vertical, three-dimensional sculpture inspired by Booth Museum artist Veloy Vigil. Expect layered color, graceful movement in the forms, and compelling shadow effects with a light source. The class is held at Booth Western Art Museum, with pick-up and drop-off in the Borderlands Classroom. Registration is required, and a minimum of 10 students is needed. At the Summerville Train Depot, this community showcase highlights rural American heritage and the advancement of farming machinery. Restored antique tractors, stationary engines, and other vintage equipment from the early to mid 1900s will be on view, complemented by live demonstrations of farming tasks and a variety of food and specialty vendors. Outdoor Adventure Day fills the park with hands-on activities and wildlife demonstrations. Kids can cast a line in a fishing rodeo featuring 50 tagged fish with prizes. Park staff offer archery instruction, and live animal shows include a snake program by Southeastern Reptile Rescue, a turtle presentation by Greg's Turtle Haven, and a birds of prey showcase by Wings to SOAR. Food will be available for purchase from food trucks, and the Friends of Sloppy Floyd will be selling Rodeo Catfish t-shirts. A $10 parking pass is required per vehicle.

Set in Heritage Park in Rome, NAMIWalks Rome is a family and pet friendly, one-mile awareness walk along Broat Street. Participants carry signs with messages of hope and encouragement. Before the walk begins, attendees can enjoy activities and crafts, music, and giveaways.

Michael OBrien appears at Friends of Calhoun's GEM Theatre with a performance rooted in 31 years of full-time ministry, sharing music that reflects themes of mercy and grace. His early career with Benson Records produced three No. 1 radio singles, including “If Ever I Forget,” “Nothing’s Gonna Turn Me Around,” and “What Held You on the Cross.” He later gained wider recognition as the lead singer of Newsong, co-writing and performing the duet with Natalie Grant, “When God Made You,” along with worship favorites “Before the Day” and “Psalm 40.” This program highlights hallmark songs from across his career.
