Set in Washington Park in Olde Towne Bellevue, the Bellevue Farmers Market offers seasonal produce, sourdough loaves, local honey, fresh flowers, baked goods, jams and jellies, beef, pork, farm eggs, handmade items, specialty foods, and treats for pets. Family activities, appearances from community partners, and rotating special features keep the experience fresh from week to week. Every purchase supports area farmers, bakers, makers, and small businesses, strengthening the local community. It goes on in any weather, with coffee, park strolls, and neighborly hellos shaping a favorite local tradition.

This longstanding Omaha summer tradition at Stinson Park is free and open to all ages.

Music at Miller Park continues its free outdoor summer series with a live performance by the Chad Stoner Band, offering an easygoing setting for families and neighbors to enjoy live music together. Admission is free for all and no tickets are required. Guests may bring blankets or chairs for lawn seating, along with sunscreen and bug spray. Outside food and drinks are welcome, including beer and wine, and leashed pets may attend. Please refrain from smoking and do not bring hard liquor. The concert takes place rain or shine. This series is presented in partnership with Nelson Mandela Elementary School, the Minne Lusa and Miller Park Neighborhood Associations, and other community partners.

This free show takes place inside the Horseshoe at Whiskey Roadhouse and features a set of 90s favorites from artists like Backstreet Boys, Matchbox 20, Weezer, NSYNC, The Wallflowers, Britney Spears, and more. Beach House will offer drink and food specials to keep the celebration going.

Kick off the week with MixxedFit Mondays at Highlander Accelerator, a free, all-ages outdoor workout in the north parking lot. Move to popular pop and hip hop tracks while MixxedFit blends dance-inspired choreography with boot camp style toning for an energizing session. Sammie leads the class. Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing. If the weather is poor, outdoor activities will be canceled. Participants are asked to sign in for each session. Photos or video may be taken; let the organizers know if you would prefer not to be on camera.

North Omaha Music & Arts hosts a free weekly jazz gathering that starts with a house band and then shifts into an open session. Jazz musicians, instrumentalists, and vocalists can take part, collaborate, and build their skills while sharing new ideas. Devoted to elevating quality jazz in the local community, the series offers live performances, creative exchange, and chances to connect within a vibrant musical culture.

A celebration of recent renovations at Kountze Park showcases the refreshed sprayground and a new playground. Kona Ice will be on site.

Geared toward music students, this unique Lutheran music workshop offers a full day of university level instruction. Admission is free and lunch is included. A limited number of registration slots are available. After the workshop, a Music Conservatory open house with dinner is planned, and the day concludes with a recital by Dr. Elizabeth Grimpo. Everyone is welcome at the open house, the dinner, and the recital.

Experience accessible Qigong and Tai Chi practices designed for people of every age and ability level. Qigong pairs easy breathing with slow, gentle movements to replenish energy and soothe the nervous system. Participants are led through sequences drawn from multiple Qigong and Tai Chi forms with the intention of finishing both relaxed and energized. Studies from the National Institutes of Health associate Qigong with a range of benefits, including improved balance, support for managing chronic pain such as fibromyalgia, enhanced immune function, better cardiovascular and respiratory health, and reduced stress and anxiety. This beginner-friendly class requires no prior experience. Wear casual, comfortable clothing and supportive shoes. Plan to remain standing throughout, or bring a personal chair to take part while seated if standing is not possible. No mats, equipment, or accessories are needed. Instruction is provided by Jenny Cox, a dedicated Tai Chi practitioner with over 100 hours of in-person Qigong teacher training. She offers programs centered on stress management and also teaches children. Her teaching journey began in 2024, a milestone that deepened her practice and shaped her path.
