    Mindful Movement with Jenny

    Experience accessible Qigong and Tai Chi practices designed for people of every age and ability level. Qigong pairs easy breathing with slow, gentle movements to replenish energy and soothe the nervous system. Participants are led through sequences drawn from multiple Qigong and Tai Chi forms with the intention of finishing both relaxed and energized. Studies from the National Institutes of Health associate Qigong with a range of benefits, including improved balance, support for managing chronic pain such as fibromyalgia, enhanced immune function, better cardiovascular and respiratory health, and reduced stress and anxiety. This beginner-friendly class requires no prior experience. Wear casual, comfortable clothing and supportive shoes. Plan to remain standing throughout, or bring a personal chair to take part while seated if standing is not possible. No mats, equipment, or accessories are needed. Instruction is provided by Jenny Cox, a dedicated Tai Chi practitioner with over 100 hours of in-person Qigong teacher training. She offers programs centered on stress management and also teaches children. Her teaching journey began in 2024, a milestone that deepened her practice and shaped her path.
