About the guide: Meg Krejci is a certified Level 2 Mindful Outdoor Leadership Guide with decades of experience helping individuals and organizations reduce stress and deepen their relationship with nature. Her training includes Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical School. With a background in accounting and international business, she has devoted the last 20 years to guiding people through programs at Masterpeace Studios, a nonprofit based in St. Louis.

Northside Park in Breese, Illinois hosts the 20th annual Community Link Buddy Walk with a royal celebration theme. At The Hut Sports Bar & Grill, this glow-in-the-dark sand volleyball tournament honors Suicide Prevention Awareness Month with pool play to start the action, then evening matches that shine until a champion is crowned. Look for upbeat patio music into the night, team challenges, and prizes, along with an appearance by Kasey and the 92.3 WIL Street Team. Team capacity is limited and spots are expected to sell out. Entry fees range from $210 to $300, and late registration does not include event shirts. Teams also have opportunities to earn back their entry fee, with earlier registration improving eligibility. Sponsorship opportunities are available, and items are being accepted for the silent auction, prizes, and other giveaways. All proceeds benefit Glow For Hope NFP.
