Clear out clutter while supporting animals in need by donating new or gently used items for the Brown County Humane Society barn sale. Furniture, rugs, antiques and collectibles, toys, jewelry, housewares, kitchen appliances, sports gear, bikes, tools, arts and craft or hobby supplies, artwork, decorations, books, CDs, and DVDs are all welcome. Donations are accepted for a limited time and only at the Away A Day Campground, not at the shelter. After the collection period ends, all donated goods will be sold at the barn sale, with all proceeds benefiting the animals at Brown County Humane Society. Some items cannot be accepted, including clothing and shoes, candles, food, personal hygiene products, mattresses, cribs, car seats, sofa sleepers, tube TVs, older computers and electronics, older exercise equipment, file cabinets, cassette tapes, VHS tapes, pianos or organs, large entertainment centers, and anything that does not work. Volunteers are also needed to help clean, sort, and price donations, as well as assist with moving larger items.
