Spirit Indiana Paranormal Investigators present a 45-minute program that explores the history and hauntings of the Randolph County Asylum and Infirmary in Winchester, Indiana. As a special edition of More Hoosier Ghost Stories and Haunted Places, it looks inside a landmark dating to 1899 to recount its past, the lives of former residents, and tragic moments, including a shocking historic murder on the grounds. The team shares exclusive findings from their 2025 and 2026 field investigations, supported by audio and visual evidence and in-depth historical research. The session concludes with an interactive Q&A and is designed for both the curious and the skeptical.

Kalimba, The Spirit delivers a complete live tribute to the music of Earth, Wind & Fire. It reaches for the feeling of that first unforgettable groove and holds onto it, offering a performance that goes beyond homage and brings the group’s legacy back to life.

Doors open an hour and a half before the event begins. All sales are final with no refunds or exchanges. The venue observes a clear bag policy, and weapons and outside food or drink are not permitted. There is no elevator access to the balcony level. Parking is available with general parking at $10 per vehicle in a gravel lot, or preferred parking at $25 per vehicle in a paved lot.

An original musical comes to the John Waldron Arts Center from After the Storm Productions in association with YOUnique Studio and Tipsy and Tootsie Teasdale. Set in Bloomington, Always a Little Bit Tipsy traces the journey of a boy whose early gentleness collides with strict ideas about masculinity. Pushed to conform, he crafts a tough exterior that distances him from empathy and wonder. Years later, he encounters drag, a space where bold performance reveals inner truths, and begins to reclaim the softness and play he once hid, piecing together a more whole self. The production is directed by Michael Grubb with assistance from Emily Solt, and the musical is written by Tom Slater, Ryan Chase, Nicholas Krohn, and Michael Grubb. Funding support for the project comes from the Bloomington Arts Commission.

At Indiana University McCalla School, an exhibition explores the Silk Road through music and craftsmanship. It brings together rarely seen instruments, skilled artisans, and living traditions to highlight the cultural heritage of this historic network. Visitors can explore the displays and take advantage of guided tours for a deeper look into sound, history, and culture. Hosted at Brown County State Park, this long-running mountain bike festival celebrates the local trail community. Organized by Brown County Mountain Biking, the nonprofit that stewards the area’s mountain bike trails, every dollar raised supports trail building and maintenance. Across the weekend, the festival brings together local music, food, artists, and vendors to create a welcoming community atmosphere. It is entirely volunteer-run and centered on fun. Now in its sixth year at Lake Monroe in Bloomington, this memorial tournament honors Paul Jolly and supports the scholarship established in his name, awarded annually to a qualifying graduate. The tournament welcomes all participants, including those preparing for the Hoosier Open. A boat check will be conducted before takeoff, and late entries are accepted with a $20 late registration fee. The day also provides an opportunity to support youth initiatives and share memories of PJ at the Cutright Ramp.

Hosted by the SMVS posse of NCOWS, this monthly shooting match features six stages. Upland Brewing Company’s Wood Shop hosts a National Public Lands Day celebration presented by the Indiana chapter. The program features talks by Gene Hopkins of the Archery Hall of Fame and Museum and Allen Pursell of the Sam Shine Foundation, with topics that include the history of bison and once-common Indiana birds, traditional archery, and conservation.
