Week 4 of FIT4MOM Summer Camp blasts off with a space adventure for moms and their young campers. The week centers on planets, stars, rockets, and big imaginations as everyone explores the universe through fitness sessions, playgroups, crafts, and sensory activities. Highlights include a science playgroup that launches bottle rockets at Coxhall Gardens, a pop-up class at Providence Home & Garden with astronaut ice cream after class, and a rocket craft playgroup at Coxhall Gardens. Bring the Summer Camp Sticker Chart to earn the Space Adventure sticker. Campers who collect all eight weekly stickers throughout the summer will receive a prize from the FIT4MOM Camp Treasure Box. Space inspired workouts, sensory play, and lighthearted astronaut adventures round out the fun all week.

Experience a day of sport at Hawthorns Country Club. The event includes a breakfast reception where you can mingle with other supporters, and then head out to the Arthur Hills-designed course. Throughout the 18-hole round, lunch will be delivered directly to your cart, along with drink tickets. A Hole-in-One Challenge offers the chance to win a prize. The Choice Food Pantry at the Merciful HELP Center provides curbside service for anyone living in Hamilton County, as well as residents of ZIP codes 46240 and 46260. Guests complete a short form, attach a photo ID and a utility bill, then remain in their vehicles. With the trunk open, participants receive food, produce, frozen meat, and cleaning supplies. Grocery assistance is available every 14 days for Hamilton County residents who show proof of residency, which requires a photo ID along with either a lease or an electric, gas, water, or cable bill.

At Clay Terrace, a side stage preshow presented by T-Fiber leads into bands on the main stage. Upland Brewing will operate a bar serving beer and wine, with purchases requiring a valid ID. Auditions are being held for Maxwell Anderson’s two act thriller Bad Seed, a chilling story about a seemingly perfect child and a mother grappling with the origins of evil. Directed by Matt McKee, the production is casting 12 performers, four women, seven men, and one girl. Auditioners will read from sides, and scripts and sides are available by emailing the director at mckee3515@yahoo.com with any questions. The audition location is Noblesville First United Methodist Church, please use Door 2 for entry. Rehearsals are planned at Westfield Washington Public Library and the Kitten in Carmel. Most roles have flexible stage ages, though Rhoda must convincingly appear around eight years old. Adapted from William March’s novel and later celebrated on Broadway and in an Academy Award nominated film, the play features characters from the Penmark family and their circle as the mystery unfolds. Performances are planned at The Cat in Carmel.

Bird Behavior STEM Camp

Designed as a three-day, STEM-based camp, this program introduces young learners to the foundations of bird habitats and hands-on ways to attract birds to their own yards.
