The Wabash Rotary Club marks the 35th year of its benefit golf outing at Honeywell Golf Course, launching the 2027 campaign for Wabash County United Fund. Expect a friendly afternoon of golf with lunch provided by Wellbrooke of Wabash, plus raffles, on-course contests, prizes, and a lively atmosphere that supports initiatives benefiting Wabash County. Competitions will be held throughout the round with multiple chances to win. A reception with an artist talk highlights Forest Narratives, a solo exhibition by Minda Douglas. The exhibition brings together drawings, prints, collages, and artist books created during her 2025 fall sabbatical, when she traveled through the boreal and temperate rainforests of western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. Through these works, Douglas considers the delicate and enduring qualities of forests, their mystery, their importance, and the sense of reverence they inspire.

A returning walking group at Jackson Morrow Park is launching a new season. This women-only meet-up gathers at the parking lot closest to the playground. Participants are welcome to bring friends, neighbors, and family members as the group reconnects after a fun previous season.

The Alexandria Farmers & Artists Market sets up each week at Beulah Park with a welcoming mix of fruits and vegetables, plants and flowers, homemade foods, and handcrafted artwork. Parking is available by the south Kiwanis Pavilion. Enjoy the friendly vendors and take home produce, homemade items, and one of a kind creations.

The Regional Art Show highlights the creativity of artists from Northeast Indiana with original work spanning painting, photography, graphic design, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, jewelry, and more. Eligible artists include those from Huntington County and nearby counties such as Allen, Wabash, Whitley, Grant, Kosciusko, Miami, and DeKalb. The exhibition offers a chance to display work, connect with fellow creatives, and compete for cash awards. Prizes are given for first, second, and third place in four divisions that include 2D artwork, photography and graphic design, 3D pieces, and textile arts. One first place recipient will be named Best in Show and receive an additional $100, bringing that artist’s total to $250. Award announcements take place at the opening reception. Artists must be 18 or older and submit original pieces created within the last three years. Works previously shown in this event are not accepted. Entries should be ready to hang, measure no larger than 36 inches by 48 inches, and free standing pieces must not exceed 36 inches on at least one side. Each item must be labeled with the artist’s name, title, medium, and a price if it is for sale. The entry fee is $20 for up to two works, with an additional $5 for each extra piece, payable through the provided link or at drop off during scheduled times. Late submissions are not accepted, entries deemed unsuitable may be declined, and artwork cannot be removed early. The LAC retains a 30 percent commission on any work sold during the show. An open horse show welcomes participants across multiple disciplines, including Halter, Showmanship, English, Western, and Ranch, with the flexibility to enter one or many. Classes are offered for pee-wees through adults, and there is a free stick horse class. 4-H members from any county can show all day for a flat fee. Register on the day of the show or complete registration online in advance, with an option to pre-order meal vouchers.

A friendly shooting competition focusing on air rifles and .22 LR. Pellet guns from .177 up to .30 caliber are welcome. For .22 LR, rifles must be clip fed or single loaded, and tube-fed models are not permitted for safety. The match features two stages, starting with ten shots from a benchrest and then ten shots from a barricade. Targets are placed from 15 to 60 yards. During June and September, the format changes to ten targets at 100 yards. Only one event each month is counted for scoring.
