Learn the essentials of scuba in an Open Water Diver training course at the YMCA of Muncie. Across seven weeks, participants meet once per week for a four hour session divided between classroom learning and pool practice. Classroom topics include safe diving habits, how to plan dives, the basics of human physiology that affect diving, and an introduction to marine life. In the pool, skills are introduced step by step to build comfort and confidence. Students assemble scuba gear both out of the water and in it, refine buoyancy control, and practice key safety and rescue techniques, adding new abilities each week. It reframes a classic American tale as an all-Black musical celebration. The brothers power up their Creature Power Suits, team up with the Wild Kratts crew, and invite the audience into the action as they face a humorous villain and work to protect animals. The performance blends lively storytelling with essential animal facts, capturing the spirit that has made their Emmy-nominated series a hit with families. Zoologists Chris and Martin founded Kratt Bros. Co. in 1993 and have created and executive produced more than 200 episodes across Kratts' Creatures, Zoboomafoo with the Kratt Brothers, Kratt Bros. Be The Creature, and Wild Kratts, appearing as themselves while also serving behind the scenes as directors, writers, authors, and wildlife cinematographers in pursuit of creative adventure.
