The focus is not on perfection. It is on slowing down, breathing, reflecting, and engaging in meaningful creative experiences. Held at Artful Transformations, the series includes six classes, each two hours long. It welcomes all skill levels and ages 12 and up. The group is limited to six participants. A minimum of two participants is required, and if that minimum is not met, registrants will be contacted by email and fully refunded.

Fall Restoration Art Workshop (6 Weeks)

    Artful Transformations, 2965 E County Road 400 N, Columbia City · verified Oct 2
    See details

Ease into the season with a six week creative workshop that centers restoration, reflection, release, gratitude, and renewal. Held at Artful Transformations, this series uses watercolor and mixed media to help participants reconnect with themselves through process driven artmaking. It begins with Spiced Palette, painting with kitchen spices to evoke warmth and memory, and continues with Creative Release Paintings that explore what is ready to be let go. Autumn Embers and Holding Shape then transforms those release pieces through a burning process, followed by a watercolor leaf study that moves from chaos to structure and grounding. After the Flame creates new work from ashes and remnants as a symbol of rebuilding and transformation. Revealed focuses on bringing hidden imagery to light through subtraction and layered media. The series closes with Grateful Reflections, a gratitude journaling session that carries intention into the days ahead. Each session runs for two hours. All skill levels are welcome, and the workshop is suitable for ages 12 and up. The group is intentionally small, limited to six participants. A minimum of two participants is required for the workshop to run. If the minimum is not met, participants will be contacted by email and will receive a full refund. The emphasis is on process rather than perfection, creating space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect through meaningful creative experiences.
