After a short stroll, participants are encouraged to bring a snack or drink and stay a bit longer to chat while children play together. Walking is a simple and accessible way to support postpartum recovery. Regular walks can help strengthen the body, increase energy, support mood and sleep, relieve stress, aid with weight loss, reduce the risk of blood clots, improve cardiovascular fitness, and foster social connection and psychological well-being. Please prioritize personal health, listen to your body, and consult healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and effective postpartum walking routine. Advance registration is requested. Each walk takes place at a different location, and a reminder email will be sent beforehand. If weather becomes an issue, rescheduling details will be shared. Shepherd’s Gate Pantry at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church and School provides basic necessities to Hamilton County residents through a volunteer-led ministry working with the parish HELP Committee. Clients are asked to show proof of residency in Hamilton County and may receive services once per month. In addition to food and other essentials, a limited selection of baby items may be available. Cribs and mattresses are distributed by referral from Hamilton County agencies including Good Samaritan, Birthright, Healthy Families, and the County Trustees, and items such as baby clothing up to size 2T, baby food and formula, high chairs, and strollers are offered when in stock. The pantry is among the few in the area that supply these types of baby resources. A drive-through option is also available during designated service hours, and the mission reflects the spirit of Matthew 25 to feed the hungry and welcome the stranger.

Presented by Community Health Network, the Westfield Farmers Market brings local growers and makers together at Grand Junction Plaza. Shoppers will find seasonal produce, locally raised chicken and pork, farm fresh eggs, small-batch jams, honey, homemade baked goods, dog treats, and more. Food trucks are scheduled to be at every market, adding even more options to enjoy while exploring the vendors.

A free mat Pilates class is offered on the lawn at The 106 Plaza, a newly opened community gathering space where the Nickel Plate, Cheeney Creek, and The 106 trails meet, just outside the Fishers Parks HQ and Maker Playground. Led in partnership with Jetset Pilates, the class welcomes all experience levels and does not require registration or prior practice. Participants should bring their own mat and water. Complimentary parking is available in the main Hub&Spoke lot, with overflow across the street at the Cheeney Creek trail head lot.

Jai Baker Trio brings live music to the Great Lawn at Grand Junction Plaza as part of the free Jams at the Junction concert series. When you arrive on the Grace Church campus, follow the entry road to the north side of the building and park in the large lot. Enter through the Care Center entrance at Door 18, look for the bright green signs, then go down the hall to the waiting room on the left to check in with volunteers. A personal shopper will guide you through the store to choose your groceries. After shopping, pull your car around and the volunteer team will load your items. Reservations are highly recommended but not required. If you plan to come without a reservation, arrive shortly after the waiting room opens. The Choice Food Pantry may be used once per week.

Merciful HELP Center's Choice Food Pantry provides curbside grocery distribution for anyone living in Hamilton County as well as residents of the 46240 and 46260 zip codes. Upon arrival, complete a brief form, provide your photo ID and a utility bill, then remain in your vehicle while groceries are placed for you. Items available include produce, frozen meat, and cleaning supplies. For ongoing assistance every 14 days, bring proof of Hamilton County residency, which requires a photo ID plus either a lease or an electric, gas, water, or cable bill.

It serves as the starting point for assistance, and weekly visits help the team better understand each household so they can suggest other programs and services as needed.
