At the Park 39 co-working complex in midtown Kansas City, a Tea Garden created with Keystone Native Nurseries stretches across extensive raised beds set between a renovated school building and a newer office annex. Each bed features its own mix of culinary herbs, tea plants, and flowering species, with signs that explain what is growing and the best time and method for harvesting. The Tea & Garden Club meets by the raised beds outside the main entrance to pull weeds, gather leaves and blossoms, and enjoy tea while tending the garden. Visitors may pick modest amounts of herbs for personal use, and the plantings are abundant enough to share.

Take part in a Yu-Gi-Oh! Advanced tournament at The Geekery. Registration is handled through the Konami Neuron app, and all players must sign up there. The competition uses the Advanced format with Swiss pairings and best-of-three matches, and rounds are timed. The entry fee is $5. Build your West Coast Swing skills in a welcoming weekly session at C.A.S.T.KC that combines guided learning with plenty of time to dance. The evening begins with an instructional segment where topics and teachers rotate. Dancers can exchange feedback, work drills on their own or with a partner, and get quick clarification from an instructor. A repeating monthly structure keeps things engaging. The first and second weeks offer separate tracks by experience level, with the second week featuring a spotlight move for the higher track. The third week focuses on self-directed practice, and the fourth week provides mini private coaching with multiple teachers, with signups available before the session. After the instructional portion, enjoy social dancing and shared practice time. The cost is $20, and instruction is led by Jesse Lopez alongside West Coast Swing instructors who are there to help.

At Mike Kelly's Westsider, the Dames & Dudes present an intimate, mostly unplugged night of music. JEOPARDY! Bar League brings the official bar trivia version of JEOPARDY! to T-Shotz. Across two hours, participants tackle trivia and vie for prizes. Friends can test what they know and hone their skills together.

Freya Skye brings the Stars Align Tour to The Midland Theatre with special guest Alex Sampson.
