Driven by a rock-tinged score and a playful, darkly comic spirit, Bat Boy: The Musical blends spooky chills with cheeky fun. It offers a Halloween-ready experience for those seeking something offbeat, eerie, and hard to forget.

Trampled by Turtles brings its high-velocity acoustic sound to The Truman with special guest Wild Horses. The Duluth group began in 2003 when frontman Dave Simonett shifted to an all-acoustic approach, teaming up with fiddler Ryan Young, bassist Tim Saxhaug, mandolinist Erik Berry, and banjo player Dave Carroll. Drawing on bluegrass and folk while channeling the momentum of rock, they quickly built a catalog that includes early releases like Songs from a Ghost Town, Blue Sky and the Devil, and Trouble. Recognition grew with Duluth, which reached the upper tier of the bluegrass charts and led to major festival appearances. Palomino followed by topping the bluegrass chart and staying there for over a year. PM Power Hour at Mercury Gymnastics packs one hour with running, jumping, and tumbling fun. Kids can explore trampolines, the tumble trak, balance beams, bars, ropes, obstacle courses, and foam-filled pits. A special preschool area is set aside for toddlers up to age 5 with preschool-size bars, a mini trampoline, and a foam-filled pit. Activities are supervised by Mercury coaches. Union Chapel’s first ever Trunk or Treat brings together families, teachers, and other community members for a festive evening of decorated car trunks, playful costumes, and plenty of candy. The KS01 Harvest Hustle Barrel Race brings a full slate of exhibitions and runs to Douglas County Fairgrounds.
