Now in its third year, this community race raises funds for medical and therapeutic care that supports the mental health of firefighters from the Ashland Fire Department who are living with post traumatic stress disorder. The course begins at the fire department, follows Carter Avenue to Town Center Mall, circles the outer edge of the mall parking area three times, and returns to the starting point. All registered participants receive a race shirt, and breakfast pizzas from Rocky Top Pizza will be available after the finish. Registration is $25 for early signups, $30 for the next registration period, and $35 on race day.

The Kentucky Hemophilia Foundation hosts the 2026 Women’s Educational Conference and Retreat, a weekend focused on learning, support, and connection for those living with bleeding disorders or a carrier diagnosis. Eligible participants include women with a bleeding disorder, teenage girls ages 13 to 17, and women and girls who are carriers. Set among West Virginia’s mountain landscape at Country Roads Cabins near New River Gorge National Park, the Wild & Well Retreat centers on rest and reset. The event welcomes every fitness level. Partners may split the work at each station in any way they choose, yet both teammates must complete every run segment and take part at every station. The route begins at the lake, follows the road by the soccer fields, crosses the bridge, continues about a half mile to the right, then turns back to finish at the lake. Race shirts are guaranteed for all who register. Entry fees use tiered pricing with an early rate of $25, a mid-registration rate of $30, and a day-of rate of $35.
