Hosted by the Office of Student Activities, Housing & Residence Life, WKU Parent and Family Programs, and WKU Athletics, this campus-wide Parent and Family Weekend celebrates Hilltopper spirit with activities across the university and a community gathering. It welcomes families, parents, friends, and fans for a weekend filled with campus events and a shared celebration. A highlight of the festivities features Hilltopper football facing Mercyhurst University. Guests traveling from outside the region are encouraged to make it a full weekend and explore local lodging, events, and attractions. At Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, this monthly support group offers a welcoming setting for people affected by stroke or traumatic brain injury. Survivors, family members, and caregivers can connect with others facing similar challenges, exchange practical information, and share personal experiences and resources. The gathering reflects the hospital’s commitment to helping people restore or improve quality of life after illness, injury, or surgery.

This annual, family friendly festival at Circus Square Park celebrates cultures from around the globe with live music and dance, interactive demonstrations, and a marketplace of international crafts and goods. Enjoy cuisine from many countries and take part in free educational activities for all ages, including dance lessons. Children 12 and under are admitted free and do not need a ticket. Tickets purchased online are half the price of those at the gate, and occasional flash sales are shared on social media. Opportunities to get involved include spreading the word ahead of time, volunteering in roles that range from helping children with craft projects to site cleanup, or hosting a booth with cultural displays, activities, merchandise, or food. More than two hundred volunteers are needed.

PSBC 12th Annual Car Show welcomes cars, trucks, tractors, and motorcycles, with every make and model encouraged to participate. Vehicle entry is free. Enjoy food and music, and look for a live auction planned outdoors if the weather cooperates. Donations directly support youth.
