Knitted Knockers are handcrafted breast forms for women after breast cancer surgeries such as mastectomy or lumpectomy. While conventional prosthetics can be heavy, sticky, and require special pocketed garments, these knitted options are gentle on the skin, fit into a regular bra to create a natural shape, can be adjusted and washed, and are even suitable for swimming. This monthly group focuses on teaching and making them through both knitting and crochet, then finishing by stuffing the pieces. Volunteers provide the completed knockers at no cost to anyone who requests them. The gathering is social in nature, and attendees may bring a drink and a snack.

Celebrate spooky season with a Halloween paint session hosted by KY Kate Art at the historic Mulberry Building in the heart of Shelbyville. Choose from 11 festive sign designs, enjoy candy and eerie tunes, and create a piece you can proudly display. All materials are provided, including a pre-lined wood sign, wire, and an optional bow. Once you apply sealant at home, your sign can be hung indoors or outdoors for long-lasting use. Sample images are for inspiration, and colors or ribbons may vary based on availability.
