CommunityART offers a free, arts-centered support group for people in recovery. Sessions use creative activities to foster connection, invite reflection, and encourage healing. The program is now available twice each month.

Nice Nachos brings a playful twist to the farmer’s market with pancake nachos piled high with toppings. Alongside this breakfast take on a classic, look for specialty coffee drinks and a spread of morning favorites that include burritos, tacos, traditional nachos, and quesadillas.

Women gather at Clear Creek Park in Shelbyville, Kentucky for a relaxed, free meet-up centered on walking, conversation, and connection. Bring a favorite drink like coffee, matcha, or water, then meet in the park’s parking lot before setting off for an easy stroll with plenty of friendly chatter. The aim is to get some steps in, enjoy fresh air, and meet new people. If it is raining, the event will be canceled.

A free Japan festival in Downtown Frankfort features vendors, exhibits, live performances, a cosplay showcase and parade, and a variety of activities and games. The event will take place rain or shine. For volunteer inquiries or questions, contact programs@jask.org.

Recovery Family Day is a warm, family friendly gathering centered on belonging, support, and connection. Attendees can enjoy complimentary food, music, games, and activities for all ages, explore recovery resources, and meet others who share a commitment to community healing. The day also includes the soft launch of Recovery Café SOS, offering a first look at a community space devoted to hope, wellness, support, and meaningful relationships, along with information about the Recovery Café model, which emphasizes deep welcome and caring accountability. Open to people in recovery, their families and friends, allies, and community supporters. The event closes with a candlelight vigil and walk that honors recovery journeys and remembers those whose lives were affected by addiction.
