The entry is $100 per golfer or $400 per foursome, with payment due in advance. Each golfer receives green fees with cart, lunch served between flights, and a Patriot Football T-shirt. Competition highlights include team awards, individual challenges on every hole, and hole in one opportunities, with winners contacted after both flights conclude. Their performance centers on sharp instrumental interplay, rich harmony singing with a West Coast folk rock tint, and polished stagecraft grounded in American roots music. John Jorgenson co-founded the Desert Rose Band with Herb Pedersen and Chris Hillman, started the Hellecasters, and toured for six years with Sir Elton John, later returning as lead guitarist for many European dates of the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour. His collaborators span artists such as Sting, Luciano Pavarotti, Bonnie Raitt, Billy Joel, Barbra Streisand, Bob Seger, and Earl Scruggs. He portrayed Django Reinhardt in the film Head in the Clouds, earned a GRAMMY Award for Best Country Instrumental with Brad Paisley, and received a nomination for Best Bluegrass Album with Earl Scruggs. GRAMMY Award nominee Herb Pedersen is a former member of the Desert Rose Band, The Dillards, and the bluegrass supergroup Old and In the Way.
