Mattie & Debbie spotlights the creative partnership of drummer and singer Sean Trischka and bluegrass guitarist and singer Stash Wyslouch, two distinctive voices from the acoustic scene who create something larger than the sum of their parts. Their debut, Satan’s Junction, slated for release in April 2026, blends close-knit harmonies and open, intimate arrangements with bluegrass picking, catchy pop sensibilities, and sing-along anthems. The pair has collaborated across bluegrass, roots, folk, and rock since 2013 in projects such as The Deadly Gentlemen, Tony Trischka’s Early Roman Kings, The Stash Band, and Corporate Punk, and they are among the select acts to have opened for Billy Strings, who has offered enthusiastic praise. Individually, Trischka is a warm, pocket-focused drummer, songwriter, and vocalist whose credits include work with Carsie Blanton, Mipso, Oteil Burbridge of Dead & Company, Bertha AKA Grateful Drag, Lula Wiles, and The Stray Birds. At the summit, the plan includes purchasing passes, grabbing a light lunch at the visitor center, taking group photos, and resting. Part of the Longfellow Summer Arts Festival, this poetry reading highlights music, verse, and community on the lawn at Longfellow House and is presented in collaboration with the New England Poetry Club. Norton, a 2024 volume that gathers work from her four earlier books. Her debut collection, The Good Thief, was selected for the National Poetry Series by Margaret Atwood and received the Lavan Younger Poets Prize from the American Academy of Poets, earning praise from both Atwood and Stanley Kunitz. Howe has taught at Sarah Lawrence College, Columbia University, and NYU, coedited the anthology In the Company of My Solitude: American Writing from the AIDS Pandemic, and has been awarded fellowships from the Bunting Institute at Radcliffe College, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Guggenheim Foundation, the Academy of American Poets, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown.

A beginner friendly lesson in West Coast Swing runs for about 30 to 45 minutes, with the dock shared between the lesson and ongoing social dancing.
