BMW Day at Larz Anderson Auto Museum brings enthusiasts together to showcase classic BMWs, with an emphasis on 02-series models. A pre-meet is planned followed by a drive to the museum so participants can arrive together and park as a group. Registration is available.

The Indian American Community of Newton presents the 6th Annual India Day Celebration, a no-cost, family-friendly evening at Hyde Community Center that spotlights culture and community. Celebrating ten years of D-One Soccer, the season gathers the community with the goal of making this anniversary edition the best yet.

At Oom Yung Doe New England, kids spend a week discovering foundational martial arts in a welcoming community. The camp blends basic skills with plenty of movement, games, and teamwork, giving participants time with friends while staying active. No experience is required, just energy and a willingness to play and learn.

Designed for children entering grades 1 to 3, this Summer Science Week session at the Harvard Museum of Natural History introduces young explorers to the animal kingdom. Participants move through museum galleries, take a close look at live creatures, and investigate specimens in a classroom setting. Guided by a professional educator, the small group of up to 15 students experiments, creates crafts, and plays learning games while working both independently and together. Animals highlighted range from lemurs and sloths to beetles and crows, giving students many ways to compare behaviors and adaptations. Advance registration is required. The fee is $235 for members and $260 for nonmembers, with a $25 savings for members.

This family game night brings children and their families together for fun, easy-to-play games everyone can enjoy. Over the summer, sessions include a puzzle race, bingo, and board games. Explore the Beyond Walls collection on a guided walk led by the Beyond Walls team, featuring many of downtown Lynn’s building sized murals created by local, regional, national, and international artists. The route loops through the walkable downtown and typically highlights 20 to 30 works while sharing symbolism, cultural context, artistic techniques, and behind the scenes stories connected to the pieces. Comfortable walking shoes, water, and sun protection are recommended. The starting point is the Beyond Walls headquarters, conveniently near the Lynn Interim MBTA Commuter Rail stop and within walking distance of the Lynn Ferry, with free street parking available. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased on Eventbrite.

At Goldfish Pond, families can craft paper lanterns and release them onto the water at sundown. The afternoon and evening feature activities for children such as remote control boat races and a sidewalk art contest, along with provided materials and guidance for making floating lanterns. Build confidence, self-esteem, and character through guided practice on the range as you work toward consistent results. Lesson plans combine targeted drills with engaging games, and some activities include prizes to keep participants motivated. All necessary equipment is included, and instruction is provided by teams of USA Archery certified instructors. Participants may register individually or with friends or family. Each session lasts four weeks, and you can enroll in multiple sessions to continue improving your skills.
