The sixth annual Don’t Lose Hope 5k is a community run and walk centered on suicide awareness and mental health. Early national figures from 2025 indicate that nearly 50,000 people in the United States die by suicide each year. Each loss touches families and communities, underscoring the importance of connection, support, and access to care. Participants are welcome to run, jog, or walk in memory of someone lost, in support of a friend who is struggling, or for their own wellbeing. The event encourages honest conversations, meaningful check ins, and everyday kindness. Suicide is not a sign of weakness, it signals pain that cannot be carried alone. By taking part, attendees help challenge stigma and show visible support for mental health. Same day registrations will be accepted. On race day, participants should check in and can pick up honor beads.
