Known for weaving folk and Americana soul with rock and roll drive and plainspoken storytelling, the band skips a fixed setlist. Songs, stories, and spontaneous moments unfold as the room responds, creating an experience that feels equal parts concert and communal uplift with a renewed appreciation for live music. After more than two decades on the road, shows around the country often reach capacity and longtime supporters frequently travel to catch multiple shows. The program traces Paul McCartney’s songwriting from his Beatles years in the 1960s through later chapters of his career. It spotlights the influence of his father, a jazz musician in the 1920s and 1930s, and shows how the sounds of ballroom and dance-hall big bands found their way into his music. Highlights include his successes in pop and rock with Wings and as a solo artist, spanning a broad range of styles over a 65-year journey. The music is presented on digital piano with vocals by Dan Kirouac, who portrayed McCartney in two Beatles tribute bands in the northeastern United States from 2000 to 2022.

Ghost Riderz returns to Methuen V.F.W. Post # 8349 with a wide mix of dance-friendly music. Admission is $10. The night features 50/50 raffles, free popcorn, and a door prize, with a cash bar available.

New Moon Coffeehouse presents Prince Edward Island musicians Cynthia MacLeod and Gordon Belsher, a longtime duo rooted in Atlantic Canadian tradition. Cynthia’s fiddle brings lively coastal energy, while Gordon, an award-winning Celtic musician, offers accomplished accompaniment. Together they share a set that journeys through music of the Canadian Maritimes and beyond. Hosted at the Universalist Unitarian Church, admission is $25, or $10 for attendees age 21 and under. Bill Kirchen presents the “dieselbilly” style he coined, a blend of big rig trucker songs, the Bakersfield sound and his own distinctive guitar approach. His journey spans guiding Commander Cody’s Hot Rod Lincoln into the Top 10 and earning a Grammy nomination for Best Country Instrumental Performance, and he has stood at the forefront of pivotal movements including outlaw country. Commander Cody’s Live from Deep in the Heart of Texas, recorded at Austin’s Armadillo World Headquarters, was later included on Rolling Stone’s list of the 100 greatest albums. As a solo artist he has released more than a dozen albums, and he has collaborated on stage and in the studio with Gene Vincent, Link Wray, Bo Diddley, Hazel Dickens, Doug Sahm, Hoyt Axton, Emmylou Harris, Maria Muldaur, Dan Hicks, Nick Lowe and Elvis Costello. This performance features high energy guitar and storytelling, drawing on favorites from across his catalog along with songs from his recent release Cat out of the Bag on Last Music Company.

CRÜECIFIED brings a high-voltage salute to 80s hard rock to The Phoenician, channeling the music and attitude of Mötley Crüe. Traveling from Long Island, the band recreates the feel of a true Crüe concert by matching the vocals, guitar crunch, and stage presence of Vince, Nikki, Mick, and Tommy. The set includes hits like "Kickstart My Heart," "Girls Girls Girls," "Home Sweet Home," "Live Wire," and "Looks That Kill," delivered with the energy longtime fans remember.

Beatlejuice brings a faithful celebration of the Beatles to Blue Ocean Music Hall, recreating the sound and spirit of every era with harmonies, instrumentation, and a cast of vocalists chosen to match the original recordings. Formed in 1994 by Brad Delp of Boston and drummer John Muzzy after seeing a Beatles cover act in Newburyport, the band grew from midweek club dates in Salem to regular appearances at Johnny D’s in Somerville, where demand prompted the venue to institute a special reservation system. After Delp’s passing in 2007, Muzzy, Steve Baker, Joe Holaday, Dave Mitchell, Evan Gianoulis, and Rich Bartlett carried the music forward as Beatlejuice and Friends, beginning with memorial shows at the Regent Theatre in Arlington and featuring guest singers including Mike Girard, Jimmy Rogers, Buddy Bernard, and Bob Jennings. The performance spans the full Beatles catalog along with selections from the members’ solo years, offering spot-on renditions that let audiences imagine John, Paul, George, and Ringo onstage once more.
