Ride with ZMG from Revere to the summit of Mount Washington on a planned group route through New Hampshire. The journey includes fuel and stretch breaks to regroup in Rochester and North Conway before reaching the Mount Washington Auto Road for the climb. At the summit, riders plan to purchase passes, have a light lunch at the visitor center, take official group photos, and rest. Weather at the top can change quickly, so a warm jacket or windbreaker is recommended. The return features a careful descent using engine braking in low gears to preserve brakes, with additional stops in Ossipee and Dover before the route concludes in the Boston area, where the formation disperses. Safety guidelines include starting with a full tank, riding single file with proper spacing on the mountain, maintaining a steady pace, avoiding passing on curves, and keeping the group together from start to finish.

On summer Sunday afternoons, the Longfellow House lawn becomes a welcoming gathering place for music, poetry, and community as part of the Longfellow Summer Arts Festival. The featured poet is Marie Howe, recipient of the 2026 Golden Rose Award for Poetry and author of New and Selected Poems from W. W. Norton (2024), which brings together new work with poems from her four earlier books. She served as New York State Poet Laureate from 2012 to 2014, is poet in residence at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, and is a chancellor of the Academy of American Poets. Her debut, The Good Thief, was chosen for the National Poetry Series by Margaret Atwood and received the Lavan Younger Poets Prize from the American Academy of Poets. The collection is known for voices that confront doubt and revelation through biblical and mythic imagery, as well as long, meditative lines exploring the ties between body and spirit. Howe has taught at Sarah Lawrence College, Columbia University, and NYU, coedited In the Company of My Solitude: American Writing from the AIDS Pandemic, and earned fellowships from the Bunting Institute at Radcliffe College, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Guggenheim Foundation, the Academy of American Poets, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. She lives in New York City.

Outdoor West Coast Swing fills the docks behind the Hatch Shell in a collaborative effort to keep dancing alive in a scenic waterfront setting. Music plays through a speaker setup while a rotation of DJs and instructors guides the experience. A beginner friendly lesson takes place alongside social dancing, with space on the dock shared so newcomers and seasoned dancers can move together.
