Filmed live at the Satirikon Theatre, this award-winning, boundary-pushing staging highlights Konstantin Raikin in a role that sheds period grandeur for a starkly contemporary approach. Butusov explores the fracture of family and society with jolting circus marches, white-faced clown imagery, and bold breaks of the fourth wall. Words give way to vigorous physicality, turning the stage into a dark, surreal playground. Royal ceremony dissolves into vulnerability and chaotic absurdity, concluding not with a grand funeral but in a hushed, post-apocalyptic landscape of pianos. Presented in Russian with English subtitles. The screening runs 2 hours and 45 minutes, including a 10 minute intermission.

The 15th Annual Back-to-School Celebration at TD Garden focuses on helping students return to class prepared. All spots have been filled. The event provides families with essential resources including backpacks, school supplies, winter coats, and more ahead of the new school year. Last year, support from TD Garden, The Salvation Army Massachusetts Division, and the City of Boston helped 3,500 Boston-area families equip their students, and the tradition continues. Over the past decade, TD Garden in the Community has provided more than 56,000 backpacks to the Greater Boston community. Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are available.

Adults 18 and older can gather at the library for a relaxed crafting meet-up. Bring a work-in-progress in knitting, crochet, or any other fiber art and enjoy conversation with fellow makers. Unwind at Rose Art Museum with a yoga session set around Chris Burden’s permanent installation, "Light of Reason" (2014), just outside the museum entrance. Brandeis Fitness Coordinator Kat Page will guide a workshop that welcomes every fitness level and is free to attend. Expect art, music, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Classroom to the Streets is an educational program and teacher fellowship that partners with schools to connect public art with classroom learning through curriculum and mural tours for thousands of students. Each year, visiting artists collaborate with Lynn educators and High School Junior Fellows to design building-scale works shaped by a shared prompt, community feedback, and student perspectives. The 305 in Waltham, MA hosts a Last Hope K9 Rescue adoption event where approved applicants can meet adoptable dogs and, in some cases, finalize an adoption the same day. Entry to the event space requires an adoption application on file, which can be completed in advance or upon arrival. Fully approved adopters are admitted first, followed by those with applications still in process. To ensure there is enough time to complete paperwork and deposits, adoption conversations conclude shortly before the event ends. Dog placements follow a first come, first served process, so those hoping to meet a specific dog may want to arrive early. Fully approved adopters who do not have other pets or additional household members may be able to take a dog home that day, and should bring a standard 6 foot non retractable leash. Fully approved adopters with other pets or additional people at home can place a $100 deposit to hold a match for seven days while meet and greets are arranged. If an application is still in process, a $100 deposit can also hold a dog for seven days while the application is expedited, and in most situations this deposit is nonrefundable. For safety, children under five must be in strollers or held, and groups with children under ten will be guided by a family escort. Only adoptable dogs are allowed inside the event space. If there are pets at home, the team will discuss compatibility and schedule a separate meet and greet, since on site introductions are not available. If anyone in the household has travel planned within three weeks after the event, browsing is welcome, but please wait to place a deposit or complete an adoption because dogs cannot be held in foster homes and placements will be postponed to support a smooth transition.

It showcases a range of builds and is open to Supra owners and fans of JDM culture alike. There is no admission fee, attendance is open to all vehicle types, and the setting is suitable for all ages. Step into a themed, interactive bar crawl inspired by Dungeons and Dragons where every participant becomes the hero of a personal quest. Over the course of a two-hour journey, teams visit four uniquely themed stops hosted by live actors portraying key Guild members who need help. Every decision shapes the narrative, leading to shifting alliances, unexpected outcomes, and a bit of delightful chaos. The experience is crafted by award-winning game and puzzle creators with production backgrounds that include Disney and WB Games. Groups set out at 20-minute intervals. Each team receives character cards and a single-use class power, then meets colorful NPCs at each location who present intriguing dilemmas. Expect to solve puzzles, make choices, sample potions, debate ideas, and possibly die... though that may not be the end. No previous Dungeons or Dragons experience is required, rules stay light, and the tone is playfully bawdy. Participants choose a role such as spellcaster, fighter, rogue, accolyte, naturalist, artificer, bard, or healer. The route features real-world stops including Idle Hands Brewing Co., Pearl Street Station, City Plaza, and Hugh O'Neill's. Space is limited for each start time, costumes are encouraged, and dice are welcome.
