    This lively staging of a globally popular musical celebrates teenage life through the story of Sandy, a new student at Rydell High, and Danny, head of the Greasers, as they and their friends navigate romance, peer pressure, angst, and personal change. Multiple performances are scheduled. To keep performers, crew, and audiences comfortable, the production has been relocated from the Enfield Annex to the air-conditioned theater at Temple Beth El in Springfield, MA, near the Longmeadow line and Forest Park and close to Interstate 91 and Route 5. Tickets are available at the door, and group discounts are offered for parties of ten or more by calling the Box Office at 860-498-8899. The production is directed by Stevie Norman and Michael King, with music direction by Graham Christian and choreography by Chantel Martin. This venue change applies only to this summer’s run of Grease.

Donations will be collected for the Reese Pet Food Initiative. Bringing a pet food donation earns one raffle ticket for the lottery basket door prize per person. Requested items include wet or dry dog and cat food, treats with no rawhides, and new toys. There will be shaded areas for people and their dogs, including a covered pavilion. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Dogs that are comfortable with crowds, other dogs, and loud sounds are welcome and must remain leashed at all times.
