Weekly grief support groups in Worcester County provide a compassionate space for anyone grieving a death. Participation is free and open whether or not Coastal Hospice has been part of your care. Meetings take place at the Ocean Pines Library. These gatherings are part of support offered to the Lower Eastern Shore communities of Dorchester, Somerset, Worcester, and Wicomico counties. Group cancellations are communicated by the facilitator, Nicole. Dispose of household hazardous waste responsibly, recycle electronic items, and shred paper at a special collection designed to make cleanup easy. There is no charge for Delaware residents, and the event will take place rain or shine.

Enjoy a gentle beach yoga session that builds balance and flexibility while helping reduce stress with the sound of the ocean. Led by Chrissy Ehrhart of Zenna Wellness, this practice welcomes all experience levels. There is no class fee, though standard park entry fees may apply, and optional donations support Assateague Island Alliance and its work in education and stewardship of Assateague Island National Seashore for the benefit of current and future generations. Bring your own beach towel. Participants gather at the Shade Pavilion in the North Beach parking lot. Suitable for children ages 8 and older when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Held in Conference Room 1 at TidalHealth Atlantic, this grief support group provides a compassionate space for people grieving a loss. Attendees can share their stories in confidence with others who understand, while learning ways to navigate grief and move toward hope. Participation is free and open to all.
