    Ziggy Marley: Brightside Tour 2026

31822 Lakeview Dr, Selbyville · verified Sep 13
    See details

Ziggy Marley brings the Brightside Tour 2026 to the stage, led by a nine-time Grammy recipient, Emmy winner, producer, and humanitarian whose music seeks unity, reflection, and uplift. As the eldest son of Bob and Rita Marley, he honors a storied legacy while continuing to chart his own path, blending reggae with soul, rock, and global rhythms and centering lyrics about love, justice, and resilience. At the heart of this tour is Brightside, his ninth solo album and his first since the 2020 children’s release More Family Time. Co-produced with his brother Stephen and recorded at his Rebel Lion Studio in Los Angeles, the album’s eight tracks offer hopeful, persevering messages shaped by candid, personal writing. For this project he built the songs as words and melodies before stepping into instrumentation, then rehearsed with an eclectic group of musicians to refine the sound. The record favors a warmer 432Hz tuning and carefully chosen studio gear to deepen its calming, soulful character, aligning with its restorative intent. Highlights from Brightside include a brass-driven reflection on not letting the world weigh you down, collaborations with Nikka Costa, Trombone Shorty, and Sheila E., island colors accented by Jake Shimabukuro’s ukulele, and a moving tribute to his father that incorporates archival recordings with a cameo from Stephen Marley. Known for collaborations across genres and a career that stretches from The Melody Makers to acclaimed solo work, Marley continues to keep reggae vibrant and evolving while staying rooted in purpose. The Brightside Tour 2026 shares this milestone chapter, pairing new music with the spirit of compassion, clarity, and collective responsibility that has defined his journey on stage and beyond.
