Celebrate three decades of the Maryland Coastal Bays Program with an evening gala that honors the community, partners, volunteers, and the treasured watershed. Set along the Living Shoreline at Assateague State Park, the gathering features food, live music, libations, a silent auction, and a walk-through of highlights from the past 30 years that looks back at accomplishments and ahead to what comes next. Guests can expect cuisine from The Street Kitchen and a raw bar by Baywater Seafood, music by Swamp Buckle and Billy Weiland, floral design by Little Miss Lovely, wine from The Buzzed Word, and beer and spirits from Dogfish Head. Ziggy Marley brings the Brightside Tour 2026 to the stage, led by a nine-time Grammy recipient, Emmy winner, producer, and humanitarian whose music seeks unity, reflection, and uplift. As the eldest son of Bob and Rita Marley, he honors a storied legacy while continuing to chart his own path, blending reggae with soul, rock, and global rhythms and centering lyrics about love, justice, and resilience. At the heart of this tour is Brightside, his ninth solo album and his first since the 2020 children’s release More Family Time. Co-produced with his brother Stephen and recorded at his Rebel Lion Studio in Los Angeles, the album’s eight tracks offer hopeful, persevering messages shaped by candid, personal writing. For this project he built the songs as words and melodies before stepping into instrumentation, then rehearsed with an eclectic group of musicians to refine the sound. The record favors a warmer 432Hz tuning and carefully chosen studio gear to deepen its calming, soulful character, aligning with its restorative intent.
