A welcoming song circle focused on acoustic instruments invites musicians to share original songs or favorite covers, with hand drums welcome. Participants go one by one around the circle. On each turn, someone can perform solo, ask for accompaniment, open the song to the whole group, or invite specific collaborators, choosing how to present their music. This recurring gathering takes place on the 2nd through 5th Wednesdays of the month. Admission is $5 for the entire month, or pay as you go at an amount that fits your budget. Registration is required. In the event of inclement weather, the Baltimore County Arts Guild follows the Baltimore County Public School System schedule for closures and late openings. The event takes place at the Clubhouse, an intimate 100-seat performance space in the Catonsville Arts District that is owned and operated by the Baltimore County Arts Guild. Additional classrooms on site support classes and workshops. Support comes in part from the Citzens of Baltimore County, the Catonsville Arts District, the Baltimore County Arts Guild, and the Maryland State Arts Council.
