Pro Bono Day at the Student Center provides no-cost legal consultations in a friendly, supportive setting. Participants can meet one-on-one with seasoned volunteer attorneys to ask questions and get practical guidance. The event is organized by Frederick Community College’s Legal Studies Program team in collaboration with the Frederick County Register of Wills and local attorneys.
JBK TheaterSHIP's Annual Lip Sync Battle
Presented by Fout Crane and Rigging LLC, SHIP’s Annual Lip Sync Battle returns to Attaboy Barrel House with the Golden Microphone back in the spotlight. Teams take the stage to lip sync their favorite songs while the crowd votes, and fundraising during the show can add extra votes to a team’s total. Two honors will be awarded, Best Overall Performance and People’s Choice. Friendly rivalries are in play as The 3rd Degree looks to repeat, Business Besties seeks a comeback, WLR eyes People’s Choice, and Off-Key City Rotary contends for the title. The event supports efforts to help students build capacity and gain access to the resources they need to succeed. Tickets are required and are available on a first come, first served basis.
