SilverVox Film & Music Fest Volunteer Meetup

SilverVox Film & Music Festival and Olde Mother Brewing host a volunteer open house and meet and greet at Olde Mother Brewing Co. Anyone interested in helping with the festival can meet the team, learn about available roles, and ask questions about what to expect. The festival spans 10 venues in downtown Frederick and showcases national and international films alongside local and national musical acts. Beer from Olde Mother Brewing and food from Backslash Burgers will be available.

Pokémon League Standard Format

Take part in a friendly Pokémon League event that uses the Standard format. Players compete in age divisions, with Masters 17 and up at a $10 entry fee, Junior ages 13 to 16 at $5, and Seniors 12 or younger at $5. Each entry includes a prize pack. The event features three to five rounds based on attendance, and prizes are awarded to top players in each age group. All entry fees go into the prize pool as store credit.

Enjoy alcohol-free sips while you explore painting a spring landscape under the guidance of students from the Barbara Ingram School of Fine Arts. Hosted at Walkersville Public Library, this creative session is intended for adults. The promotional image features colorful paint strokes with cups of paint and paintbrushes, setting a bright, seasonal tone.

Puzzle and Game Exchange

Bring along gently used puzzles and board games to exchange with fellow fans at C Burr.Artz Central Library. Drop offs are accepted on the day of the event, and you are encouraged to bring a box or bag to carry your selections home. Anything remaining afterward will be given to local charities. Suitable for all ages.
