Gentle Aerial Yoga with Sally Jones-Rooy

Experience gentle aerial yoga with Sally Jones-Rooy in a 90-minute, all-levels workshop that uses a suspended hammock to open the body, build strength, and increase flexibility and range of motion while easing pressure on the joints. Explore playful movement on the mat and in the hammock, including seated, standing, upside-down, and reclined variations. The session concludes with a soothing floating savasana. This workshop welcomes beginners and seasoned practitioners alike, and is suitable for bodies up to 300 pounds. Participants must be at least 13 years old, and minors need to attend with an adult. Arrive at least 10 minutes early so hammock heights can be adjusted. Wear a top with full underarm coverage that stays in place during inversions, and skip scented lotions, oils, or perfume since the fabric holds onto scents. This practice is not recommended for those who are pregnant, have had recent abdominal surgery, or experience vertigo or motion sickness.
