Hosted at Orioles Nest 331, this long-format 501 darts competition is part of the DPDC Tour and uses a points-based table. Four to eight players from the rolling tour standings are seeded directly into the knockout bracket, while all other entrants compete in a round robin to earn a spot in the knockouts. Matches in the knockout stage begin as best of 9. Top 16, Top 8 and the semifinals are best of 11, and the final is best of 13. Across the year there are eight tour stops, with points from each appearance added to the DPDC Tour table. At the close of the season, the top 16 competitors who have taken part in at least four events receive invitations to the DPDC Finals for a seeded knockout bracket. Entry fees are $40 with pre-registration or $50 for on-site registration.

Climb aboard a restored 1966 double decker for a one hour guided ride through Downtown Frederick that explores the city’s pivotal Civil War story and the advances that reshaped battlefield medicine. Setting out from the National Museum of Civil War Medicine, a museum docent provides expert commentary with accounts of improvised hospitals, courageous caregivers, and innovations born of necessity. As the bus rolls past notable streets and landmarks, learn about the trials faced by surgeons, nurses, and soldiers, and visit significant sites where the wounded received care. Tickets are $39 per person and include admission to the National Museum of Civil War Medicine. Capacity is limited.
