Gundam New Type Challenge Mission 4

This Gundam event features a $10 entry fee per player, with the full amount added to the prize pool. Top finishers receive prizes, and additional promotional items are reserved for leading players. Everyone who participates receives a promo item. A confirmed registration through the Bandai Plus App guarantees a seat. Capacity is set at 32 players, and if that number is not reached, in-store waitlisted players will have a chance at any open spots through a raffle. It is common for some confirmed entrants not to attend, which can open places for those on the waitlist.

Yu-Gi-Oh Advance Format Weekly Tournament

2027 Miss Maryland Volunteer & Miss Maryland Teen Volunteer Final Pageant

The statewide competition reaches its finale as candidates for Miss Maryland Teen Volunteer and Miss Maryland Volunteer return to the stage for a last round of judging that ends with Maryland’s next titleholders being crowned. Built around the production theme Life of a Showgirl, the program features competition in talent, fitness, evening gown, and an onstage question segment, leading to the selection of Miss Maryland Teen Volunteer 2027 and Miss Maryland Volunteer 2027. After the crowning, the new titleholders begin a year of service representing Maryland and advance to the Miss Teen Volunteer America and Miss Volunteer America national competitions. The celebration continues at the Official Miss Maryland Volunteer and Miss Maryland Teen Volunteer After Party at Frederick Social, which includes the organization’s awards ceremony with additional recognitions and special awards for contestants.

Rockwell Brewery in Frederick welcomes the Chuck Brown Band for the first time, bringing the groove that helped shape Washington, DC’s go-go tradition for a special night of live music. For more than a decade, this powerhouse ensemble has carried forward the unmistakable sound pioneered by the late Chuck Brown, blending funk, soul, and jazz into an unshakable beat. On stage they deliver continuous grooves, fiery horns, and the high-energy atmosphere that defines go-go, with extended jams, deep-pocket funk, and the signature call and response that turns a concert into a family-style celebration. Led by Chuck’s son, Wiley Brown, alongside his daughter KK, the group keeps the legacy vibrant and the party in motion. This is a ticketed show and is expected to reach capacity. A dedicated dance floor will be set in front of the stage, and tables closest to the front may experience obstructed views when dancers gather. Now in its fifth year, this camp helps children build practical self regulation skills through engaging experiences. Campers explore mindfulness with yoga and guided meditation, express themselves through arts and crafts, spend time in nature, enjoy games and stories, and take part in projects that promote kindness in the community. The setting is welcoming and judgment free so kids can be themselves. Designed for ages 5 to 11, from kindergarten through fifth grade, the program supports children who want tools for managing big emotions and energy, strengthening friendships and social skills, enjoying hands-on creativity, and thriving with structure, movement, and mindfulness. Sessions are led by children’s yoga instructors trained in trauma informed practices and nervous system regulation. Families can choose a morning session with Kelly, an afternoon session with Bonnie, or combine both for a full day. The emphasis is on inclusive practices and skills that last beyond camp. Pricing is $275 per session for Monday through Friday, or $500 for a full day Monday through Friday. Registration is by individual session. Curious Iguana marks Bookstore Romance Day with a full day of in-store signings and friendly meet and greets featuring three local romance authors. Emilia Renay will be signing Bluejay Odyssey and Hunt for the Homeworld, a sci fi romance series that reflects her advocacy for realistic disability representation. An artist as well as a writer, she also creates the series artwork, and Bluejay Odyssey is her debut. Mary Cain will be signing Hustle, Bang, Score, a contemporary romance, drawing on a background that includes growing up on the Chesapeake Bay and studying fashion design to tell stories about everyday people and the unconventional figures who shake up their routines. Celebrate Frederick’s In The Streets Festival transforms Historic Downtown Frederick and Carroll Creek into a lively showcase of local businesses, restaurants, artists, musicians, community groups, and family friendly entertainment. Originating in 1983 after downtown renovations, the event began as a welcome-back street celebration and has grown from roughly 10,000 attendees to more than 75,000 each year. Miles for Mercy Bike Night

Miles for Mercy Bike Night raises funds for Frederick Health Hospice, presented by Malloy Law Offices and hosted by American Iron Speed-n-Cycle. Riders, car and motorcycle enthusiasts, local businesses, industry professionals, friends, and supporters come together to champion a local cause. The night features music and dancing with DJ Thumper from Musical Memories, along with food from Agave 137 Tequila Bar & Grill and The Cellar Door. Activities include raffles, a silent auction, and the Miles for Mercy Car Show hosted by K & K Automotive with cars and motorcycles on display. Bike Night also marks the finale of the Miles for Mercy Poker Run, when the $500 Best Hand winner will be announced and the day’s participants will be recognized. Admission is a $10 donation, and all proceeds support Frederick Health Hospice. Attendees are responsible for their own safety and conduct. Riders should follow traffic laws, ride within their abilities, and prioritize safe riding. Event details may change.
