The 5th Annual BWell Race Series brings the community together for health, movement, and wellness at the Saginaw YMCA, featuring a 10K run, a 5K run walk, and the 3K Turtles & Hares untimed run walk. The 10K and 5K are professionally timed and USATF sanctioned. Mid-Michigan Laser Combat is running a beta tournament mission test to fine tune a potential competitive format for laser combat, allowing participants to choose their own teams and weapons. It is limited to six or more two-person teams. Matches use six players on the field, players may field six guns in their team color, and each participant can appear on only one team roster.

Dixon brings a transformative approach to the electric violin in a live concert at Fischer Hall. Known for turning a single instrument into a rich, layered soundscape, he improvises on a five string electric violin and uses a looping system he created to build an all live one person symphony, woven with his personal story of change. His background spans more than a thousand performances across North America, five TED talks and performances, over a decade at Burning Man and Electric Forest, and appearances on radio, television, and film. A former technology leader and symphony violinist, he stepped away from that career to forge a new musical style. Audiences have responded with standing ovations and deeply felt reactions, often calling the sound dreamlike and unlike anything they had seen, with some moved to tears and smiles. Cook the Book is a Wickson Library book club that brings cooking and reading together through a shared potluck.
