Light snacks and water will be provided, and participants are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle. Expect physical tasks, time on your feet, and moderate lifting. Legato Memory Café offers a welcoming place for people living with dementia or other cognitive changes and the care partners or loved ones who support them. This monthly gathering centers on connection and community through conversation, light refreshments, and hands-on creative activities such as music making, painting, storytelling, movement, and more. Activities are designed so participants of all abilities can take part comfortably, with social time and creative exploration at the heart of the experience. No medical diagnosis is required to attend. The café meets in Allesee Hall inside the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center. Participation is free and advance registration is encouraged.
