Summer in Madison Heights brings the Arts Board’s annual Trail Tunes Music Festival, a community celebration of live music. Launched in 2020 when venues were quiet and performers were practicing at home, the festival began as a safely spaced gathering at Civic Center Park to reconnect music lovers. At Passenger Recovery, a creative writing session led by Jimmy Doom focuses on helping writers face the page with courage while using fiction as a safe place to explore vulnerable ideas. Notebooks are provided.
