Having grown up around music while traveling with their fathers, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of Kiss, they bring that lifelong connection to the stage. After hearing their first home-recorded demo, producer Rob Cavallo, known for work with Green Day, Fleetwood Mac, Paramore, My Chemical Romance, and Dave Matthews, stepped in to produce the duo’s debut full-length and manage the project. With the album finished and a North American run ahead, this show welcomes all ages.

Now in its fourth year, The Three Ring Circuit returns with a full weekend of axe throwing spread across two Detroit Axe locations and six competitions. This edition features a double major with a Women’s IATF Major titled The Fern, open to all who identify as women, and an Open IATF Major open to all throwers. Both majors use premier rules in a double-elimination format. Rounding out the lineup, Detroit Axe Corktown hosts a mini-marathon with a 12-game regular season followed by playoffs and a 20-thrower limit, along with a doubles tournament that runs as double elimination with the possibility of group play feeding into the bracket. At Detroit Axe Ferndale, competitors can take on the Big Axe tournament using standard rules with double elimination and 5 and 7 round matches, plus a Skillz competition that follows a wheel of skillz format with double elimination, with additional rules provided in a separate post. Explore the birds of Belle Isle during a recurring field outing focused on observing and identifying species across the island. Meeting locations vary based on current bird activity, and detailed parking directions are provided with registration. A limited number of binoculars are available to borrow, and a spotting scope may be set up when appropriate. All skill levels are welcome. Depending on the month, the program may start from different spots on the island. Some sessions use the parking area off Woodside Dr and follow a flat, paved loop of about one mile. Although much of the route is illuminated by street and holiday lights, some stretches are darker, so illuminated running vests are strongly recommended for visibility.
