World Ballet Company brings Swan Lake to the stage with Tchaikovsky’s score performed by a live orchestra. This production weaves destiny and enchantment into a classic struggle between light and dark, realized by a company of 50 dancers from around the world in more than 150 hand-sewn costumes and framed by beautifully crafted sets. Highlights include the Dance of the Little Swans and the Black Swan’s 32 fouettés, along with countless sweeping pirouettes. The performance runs about 2 hours and 30 minutes, including a 20 minute intermission, and is suitable for ages 5 and older. Based in Los Angeles and led by Sasha Gorskaya and Gulya Hartwick, World Ballet Company tours beloved ballets nationwide, welcoming both newcomers and longtime fans.
